The Space:
Your own private room on the upper level of our home—it is one of two units in a small, Portland row house–style HOA building with two other tenants. The home itself is in a dense residential and commercial business neighborhood, situated just off a main, tree-lined street in the heart of the urban hustle and bustle. It’s a very popular area, loved by both visitors and locals for its walkability and charm.
This cozy and thoughtfully appointed bedroom and bathroom offers a peaceful, home-away-from-home experience with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. To reach the space, you'll enter from the street and climb a large set of stairs with a sturdy handrail that leads you to your private suite.
Once inside the bedroom, you'll enjoy a queen-size bed with soft cotton linens, a warm comforter, and an extra quilt for added coziness. The room also features a comfortable reading chair with ottoman, a small dining table perfect for meals or remote work, two nightstands with reading lamps, a ceiling fan, and a mini-split heat pump to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. A large window lets in beautiful natural light and a breeze when opened, with room-darkening shades for restful sleep. For your entertainment, there’s a 40" Roku TV with remote, perfect for streaming your favorite movies and TV shows using your own accounts.
The private bathroom includes a single-person shower, a large vessel sink with vanity, plush cotton towels, a hair dryer, and even a clothes steamer. For your convenience, there’s a small kitchenette area with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and mini drip coffee maker, as well as dinnerware, utensils, and glassware—ideal for heating up prepared meals or enjoying snacks. We provide a small amount of coffee to get you started, but you’ll also be staying in a city renowned for its incredible coffee scene—feel free to explore the many local roasters and cafés just steps away. A small portable fan and Pack ’n Play are also available for added comfort and flexibility.
