Old Portsmouth is less than a mile walk away with traditional English pubs serving a great selection of food and drinks with views over the Solent and the harbour. A further stroll you can enjoy the outlet designer shopping at Gunwharf Quays, which also has waterfront restaurants and bars, or catch a film at the cinema or enjoy a game at the bowling alley. Set sail with the kids at Miniports or have an exhilarating ride in a RIB, not forgetting to make sure you also take in the amazing views from the top of the Spinnaker Tower.

Nearby attractions include Portsmouth’s historic dockyard featuring HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Exhibition, The D-Day Museum, Southsea Castle and Blue Reef Aquarium. Should you wish to adventure a little further, why not board the hovercraft at Southsea and take a day trip over to Ryde with a unique 10-minute crossing across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
