A lovely airy hotel with great views of the city
Pros:The hotel staff, to a person were courteous and helpful. They added to the whole positive experience.
Cons:Nothing
Location:Plenty of places to visit , all within walking distance of the hotel. Hotel set on hill which gives a great view of city
This is a great place to stay. The terrace ( and breakfast room) has the most amazing views down into the city.
Walking back up from the town could be a bit much for less able/ fit people. However taxi's are not expensive or take the #22 tram up from the town. This will drop you about 200 metres uphill from the hotel.
Prague is a lovely , clean city

Ideally situated for Prague Castle.
This hotel is about 400m west of the castle, ("Pražský hrad"), on the edge of the monastery complex. It can be accessed from the 22 tram, or by (non-trivial, uphill) walks from Hradčanská or Malostranská metro stations. We managed to get rapidly from the airport on a two-hour 32CZK travel pass by taking the 119 bus and changing to the metro at Dejvická.
Our welcome from Jiří, ("Yergee"=George) was warm, clear and comprehensive over a gratefully consumed drink, and we were shown to pleasant, atmospheric standard room with powerful shower, decent consumables, daily fresh fruit and water and satellite TV. Nearly all the staff are young and speak good English.
Although there was a mini-bar, there was no in-room hot drink making facility in our grade room, but this is not really a problem as guests have access to a downstairs lounge with internet computer, home cinema, complementary hot drinks and (sometimes) evening cake.
Breakfast is available from 7 to 10, (11 on Sundays), but we'd advise taking it early, as the restaurant gets full and the plates empty. Food is of a good but unremarkable standard, as is service.
If you are quick off the mark, head for a table up and to the left to get amazing views of the city, Petřín Hill park and Eiffel-style radio tower.
We found the standard room pleasantly warm and easily ventilated, but you might want to consider air-con during summer.

Paras käyttämäni hotelli Prahassa!
Ystävällinen, henkilökohtaiselta tuntuva palvelu, missä vain asiassa autettiin (ratikkalippujen osto, konserttivaraus jne). Ihana aamiaishuone ja aamiainen, kuohuviiniä viikonloppuna. Mukava huone, tosi siistiä, hyvä vuode, hyvät kylpytuotteet.
Mahtava sijainti, rauhallinen ympäristö, kuitenkin lähellä kaikkea.

Viihtyisä tunnelmallinen hotelli
Loistavaa ystävälistä palvelua, hotellin sijainti erinomainen, jos haluaa puistomaista ympäristöä ja rauhallista miljöötä, josta ei kuitenkaan kohtuuttoman pitkä matka ihan keskustan nähtävyyksiin. Hotellissa on hienosti jätetty esiin historiaa ja luostarin alkuperäistä tunnelmaa. Aamupala on monipuolinen ja maukas. Noutopalvelu lentokentältä toimii hyvin.

Palveluun satsattu
Tosi hyvä hotellivalinta niille, jotka nauttivat kauniista luonnosta , mahtavasta näkymästä kaupungin keskustaan ja hyvästä palvelusta. Tunnelmallinen vanha rakennus, erittäin siisti hotelli. Henkilökunta on satsannut selkeästi hyvään ja ystävälliseen palveluun. Kätevä mahdollisuus noutopalveluun lentokentältä kohtuuhintaankin. Ratikalla pääsee kätevästi Kaarlensillan lähelle. Linnan alue kivan lähellä. Olimme oikein tyytyväisiä siihen, että valitsimme tämän hotellin.
