The Canada House | 4-Bedroom Retreat in Prince Edward County | Pool and Hot Tub

Welcome to The Canada House – A beautifully renovated, four bedroom home with classic county views, located in the heart of Prince Edward County.

The interior of the house has been designed by the Province of Canada team for family and friends to share their holiday, getaway or work-cation, in comfort and relaxed luxury. Combining warmth with a minimal beachy, made in Canada vibe, this is the perfect spot to lounge around enjoying the pool, hot tub, gourmet kitchen and country backdrop. If you want to explore, the house is located in the centre of Prince Edward County — take a short drive to Sandbanks, numerous wineries and breweries. The quaint towns of Picton, Bloomfield and Wellington are only a few minutes away.

The Canada House was designed with a contemporary approach to country living. It is a four bedroom bungalow with all the amenities of a city home, tucked away on quiet dirt road just 5 minutes north of Picton. The two acre property features an above ground pool that is available from June to Mid-Sept., a hot tub, and a large outdoor deck space that surrounds both. Inside of the home a well equipped kitchen, a Sonos Move sound system, wireless internet, two smart TVs (one with cable) laundry and four well-appointed, boutique-style bedrooms.

Primary Bedroom (Main Floor)
The primary bedroom offers a king-size bed, featuring our 'made in Canada sleeping experience', a spacious layout with a chaise lounge and built-in closetspace.

Guest Bedroom 1 (Main Floor)
The guest bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed, featuring our 'made in Canada sleeping experience'.

Guest Bedroom 2 (Main Floor)
The guest bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed, featuring our 'made in Canada sleeping experience'.

Guest Bedroom 3 (Lower Level)
This guest bedroom on the lower level basement has a king bed, featuring our 'made in Canada sleeping experience’.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a Bosch five burner gas range with grill, a full Bosch refrigerator / freezer, and an ultra-quiet Bosch dishwasher. It is just a few short steps to the BBQ and outdoor deck and pool area.

Dining Area
Comfortable seating for eight - The open, farm view dining room is directly beside the kitchen and looks down towards the main living area. 8 to 10 guests can dine with ease at the large dining table.

Living Areas
Spacious and relaxing with multiple lounge areas - This space is furnished with plenty of seating, a modern 'safe-to-touch' fireplace, and a large smart television. With high ceilings and windows on three sides, this space is surrounded by county views. Another lounge area can be found in the lower level basement which features three comfortable couches and another large smart television and dry bar with mini wine fridge.

Outdoor Space, Pool and Hot Tub
The 28 foot above ground pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and nature. The perfect place to hang out on a hot sunny day. The large deck is built around the pool, and a four person hot tub. The pool is available from June to Mid-September. Located on the deck is also a BBQ and an oversized pinic table. The backyard also features a firepit.

Made in Canada
We’ve done our best to create a retreat residence that is guest conscience, and filled with as many made in Canada products as possible — including bedding, mattresses, furniture, accessories and cleaning products.

Bed of Canada
For our 'made in Canada sleeping experience' we've partnered with Endy, Au Lit Fine Linens and Quagga Designs to create a bed that is 100% made in Canada, all the way down to the bedframe.
