Among the amenities and perks of this exclusive rental, there is secure parking at the base of the stairway leading up to the studio. Once you go up the stairs you are immediately greeted with a picturesque view of the pacific ocean, view of the beautiful gardens and the lush tropical forest through the apartment.

Upon entering you will find a desk with hi speed internet, beyond the desk is a beautiful and comfy king sized bed to your left, made from the local woods, and a more than comfortable couch to chill out on.

If you want to make your own meals, the kitchen is fully equipped including stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, pots, pans and dishes. Ingredients for cooking and ice for your favorite cocktails. Potable water so you don't have to buy bottled water.

Additionally you have your own washer and dryer to keep your favorite clothes clean, allowing you to travel light. We also offer detergent.

The harmony is fully air conditioned, but has screened windows and doors allowing the breeze to flow freely through the unit. The apartment is situated in a residential street with a jungle view, where you will experience first hand the vibrant greens and sounds a lush tropical paradise has to offer but still walking distance to the town.

If you are lucky you could be entertained by monkeys, parrots, macaws,, humming birds, and countless other species of birds, flora, and fauna.
The jungle creates sounds unlike anything you have heard before, whether it is the cawing of a scarlet macaw heading home, the down beat of an early morning rain, the crashing sound of waves, or the incessant howling of a howler monkey, it is a memory that will stay with you.

This harmony of nature is the essence why your hostess, Jackie, who’s passion is music, choose to call our new dwelling the Harmony Studio apartment. It was built trying to think of every detail that your host and hostess would like to see if they themselves were choosing a place to vacation. There is even a guitar available to the musically inclined.

Located on a second floor it overlooks Carrillo bay to the west where you will experience sunsets. If a magnificent sunrise is your wish or to admire the moon and the stars, the open patio to the East where you enter the studio will accommodate you as well.

While the studio is private and secluded, it is still walking distance to local bars, the best restaurants in the area and two grocery stores, all within 2 to 4 blocks away.
If you are looking for a little more nightlife, Samara another renown beachside town, is less than 10 minutes away by car or taxi.

Jackie and Rick live in the house right next to the Studio and the building is sound proof, there will be no noises to bother you. The road in front is not transited by vehicles so road noise is not a problem.

Carrillo beach offers a safe beach to swim at, lined by coconut trees for shade. There are a multitude of tours available in the area including fishing, dolphin and whale watching, horse back riding, four wheelers to go into the jungle to experience swimming in a waterfall, a bird sanctuary in Punta Islita for the rehab of the scarlet macaw and other activities. Tour companies will pick you up in front of the Studio.

Your host or hostess will more than happily help you find the activity you are looking for. All you have to do is ask Jackie and Rick.

A description of our town
Carrillo Beach (not to be confused with the Carrillo county) has a small community with great restaurants and a couple of stores and it is less than 10 minutes by car from the well known Samara Beach.
This beach was awarded with the 5 star ecological blue flag, only a total of 5 beaches qualified in the whole country for the top rating with 5 stars they went though a program of qualifying great ocean water and potable water plus cleanliness of the town and efficient recycling programs in the community.
The beach is ideal for swimming and absolutely beautiful surrounded with palm trees and lots of shade throughout the whole day.
Most of the homes around our Studio are residential. In our street called Buenavista there are about 3 other homes for permanent friendly residents and a hotel called Casa Buenavista that is located in the corner.
From our location you can walk to 4 amazing restaurants within 2 to 4 blocks away.
There are also a couple of tour companies in town to help you arrange your activities, one is called Octopus Costa Rica and it is recommend for the dolphin tours and a wonderful ocean experience.
Water activities are the highlights of our town. Anything from swimming, going for a dolphin and whale tour, fishing for inshore and offshore, kayaking and paddle boarding, snorkeling at Punta Indio and Isla Chora or just taking an adventure to the jungle by ATV or side by sides to swim in a waterfall and have a barbecue in a secluded paradisiac white sand beach.
Everyone is friendly in our community and happy to provide great service for people visiting the area.
Samara offers lots of restaurants in front of the water and lots of souvenir shops. There are a handful of tour operators that offer great activities for adults and children.
Carrillo also offers a Gym with instructor, a horse back riding tour guide named Luis Angel that is fantastic and two grocery stores where you can find absolutely everything you may need on vacation from fruits to liquor and wine.
Playas del Sur and Roble that also belong to our town offer a paradisiac experience with a small waterfall flowing right into the sand in the months of May through November and lots of tide pools.

One of the highlights of Carrillo is walking the whole beach which is 2 kilometers long or 4 kilometers round trip. The walk is easy and you will see lots of species of birds including Kingfishers, lots of egrets and scarlet macaws. The gentle walk provides so much beauty. A lot of people like to do this walk early in the mornings to see the sunrises or some may prefer to go for a sunset cruise and swim. If you feel adventurous you can walk all around the Punta Indio rock at the North side of the beach.
Carrillo is a very safe town and friendly.
