Fabulous yoga on the roof 3 days a week is an added bonus plus the bikes. We will be back next year!

The entire property is so well maintained, a mini paradise! The on-site staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The decor and plantings are lovely and the interior pool provides a quiet, shady spot to relax. It is a short walk to the beach. We loved having the bikes available onsite. We see why people return year after year to Abbey del Sol!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband, my toddler and I stayed at Abbey del Sol for a quick getaway to celebrate both of their birthdays. It was wonderful. We were in a spacious unit on the ground level. We had our private terrace to enjoy coffee outside. Everything you could possibly need was available for use in the kitchen. We were provided with a 5 gallon bottle of water for cooking and drinking which was super convenient. The air conditioners in both the dining/kitchen/living area and the bedroom were in great working order but we primarily used the fan in the bedroom at night. King Bed was super comfortable and spacious for all three of us to sleep in. Water pressure in the bathroom was perfection with plenty of hot water. If you need a high chair just ask! They also have a “crib” but it’s more of pack and play and you’d need to bring your own bedding. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool and loved that the beach was a 5 minute walk from the property even more. Check out Unico Beach Club! My husband utilized the bicycle to run errands in town so that was very convenient. Plenty of restaurants and shops in walking and biking distance. Many of the restaurants also do delivery. The staff at the front were friendly, accommodating and professional. It was a wonderful little stay all in all. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Would definitely come back. The only con is that the tv is in the bedroom and when you have to put down a toddler at 8 pm, that leaves the rest of the evening with no entertainment unless you have your phone or laptop. Maybe a small tv can be placed in the living room area? Either way, it’s a very small con. Thank you to Mariela at front desk for being so kind and accommodating!

As perfect as hotels get and I've stayed at a few. It's clean, quiet, has probably the best pool I've ever been in and is just spitting distance from the beach. Our room had tons of space and was really lovely to come back to each night. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering local tips and going out of their way to get us situated and comfortable. Abbey Del Sol might just be THE REASON we come back to Puerto Morelos.

The room was immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable with top quality linens.We booked a room with a kitchen ,it had everything imaginable in a compact space. The room even had a Beach bag, Beach chairs and a umbrella! That thought of everything!
