Quiet location. Scenic location. Easy access to the Beach. Beautiful sunsets

Comfotable stay. We had a few issues when we arrived, Grill did not have any propane and to use the oven it needed a lighter. The lighter that was in the condo was empty. We reached out to the owner and it was provided. Joe was quick to assist.Shower, water was not hot. We suggest maybe providing a cooler to take to the beach when you want to hang out.

Perfect location!

Right on the most beautiful beach with everything you needed in the condo! Would definitely stay again. The short walk to and from the beach and pool was so great with little kids. We all had a blast!

Condo in Puerto Vallarta

The condo and location was exactly as described and we have stayed in this condo building previously.The only downside was an issue with the lack of hot water. The owner tried his best to rectify this issue while we were there but involved buying and having a new heater unit installed but was too late for us to benefit from the repair/install.

A lovely stay at Playas Gemelas

Enjoyed our time in PV. Joe was able to upgrade our unit to one with a better view. We saw whales from the balcony most mornings. The complex was well maintained and the staff was pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend staying at Playas Gemelas for its great beach and quiet environment.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location and unit for the two of us. The view is unbeatable and the beaches are white sandy and swimmable. Quick and easy access to downtown and other great beaches and villages to explore near by. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would recommend.

Extremely relaxing , perfect location

Just got back from 7 relaxing days in joes condo . The location was perfect, far enough out of town to be away from the hustle and bustle of the romantic zone but easily accessible by bus , taxi or Uber if so desired . The unit itself is perfect , second floor ao not having to use the elevator unless needed , gorgeous views of the ocean and grounds . I usually enjoy the ocean but the pool was so accessible and relaxing we spent all our time poolside ( warm also ) . The building staff were super friendly and helpful . Joe answered all questions quickly and precisely. Joe is available when needed but also gives you your required space . Wonderful stay and will def be returning to this vacation rental.

Absolutely gorgeous!

We stayed here for a week long vacation. It was such a quiet, lovely place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. The view from the balcony is unbelievable and we sat there every morning drinking coffee. We fell asleep at night listening to the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the quick access to the beach. It is 150 pesos to take a taxi to downtown PV from here and there are always taxis waiting by the entrance. The bus also stops here. This location is also close to the botanical gardens and to Boca de TomatlĂĄn where you can water taxis to the more remote beaches such as Los Animas and Yelapa. The property has 24/7 security and you can see them walking around with their flashlights. Joe responded quickly to all of my questions and was a great host! We would 100% stay here again!

Beautiful views

Beautiful view of the Pacific ocean - including sitings of whales and a manta ray. Gorgeous sunsets. The pool did not open until our 3rd week due to repairs but was beautiful and warm. Condo is older and needs some maintenance and deep cleaning . Is more suited for 2 people. Weekly housekeeper was much appreciated. Just one convenience store nearby, so we needed to go into town for groceries. Usually took the bus in and taxi home. Joe responded to any of our questions, concerns promptly. Overall a very pleasant stay.

A Place To Return To

We really enjoyed our week at Playas Gemelas. A comfortable apartment in a tranquil and gorgeous setting. The complex is pristine, safe and the staff is excellent. Nice views from both master bedroom and living room. Ample space for the 2 of us but may be a bit tight for 4 adults. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a nice bonus. As we were on 2nd floor, it was easy to get to the pool and lobby when the elevators were briefly out of service. It must be noted that the pool in front of the unit is under repair so couldn't be used, but the other pool is lovely, quiet, with a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean. If you tire of the pool, lounging on the beach and swimming in the ocean is a fun alternative. If you are looking for a tranquil vacation, this is perfect. There is a restaurant a short walk away but no other action. You must taxi or bus to town for that (easy and inexpensive). Also, you must taxi to get groceries. We would happily stay here again!

We stayed for seven nights and the condo met and exceeded our expectations Its a great location with a super beach, great pool, restaurant near by with a little market adjacent Joseph our host even supplied us with an iron and hairdryer
 which saved the day when the groom for the wedding we were attending needed help getting ready 👍 Also note that the Chili Rellanos and Spanish Coffee at the restaurant are 5 star

This condo was exactly what we wanted but we're extremely disappointed that we weren't told that the pool directy infront of the condo had been empty for quite some time. Never dreamed to ask if there'd be water in the pool!

Lovely stay right on the ocean

Hidden gem. We really wanted to stay on the beach and are so glad we opted for this place. Bus stop across the street got us into town in 10-15 minutes for 10 pesos each. Taxi from the airport brought us the whole way for about $20 (450pesos). Check in was easy with reception. Hosts were very helpful and friendly and always quick to respond to questions. Condo was small but just enough for four of us. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, washer and dryer, full kitchen, strong Wi-Fi, AC and ceiling fans, and we spent almost every night at the table on the balcony drinking homemade margaritas, playing games, and listening to the ocean waves crash on the shore. Twice we called reception in the morning to reserve chairs and umbrellas for the beach (for a small fee) and enjoyed the day reading and relaxing. The condo is a little old and could use some minor repairs/deep cleaning, but nothing major. We would definitely stay here again. You can’t beat falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean right outside.

Beautiful property!

Beautiful well kept property. Quiet and clean. Everyone was friendly. And beautiful view! We were lucky and saw some whales right off the pool, even close enough to hear them, it was very cool! The condo was nice and clean, and had everything we needed to utilize the kitchen, and having washer and dryer was definitely a plus! Hearing the waves when the door to the patio was open, was so relaxing. Definitely glad we stayed here.

Nice but very small

Just got back from 2 weeks in this condo. Let's start with the pros. Lovely view, comfy furniture and beds, convenient mini grocery store and restaurant close by, very clean, access to washer and dryer, good size master bedroom, beautiful beach with loungers and umbrellas put out at your request,large balcony and great wifi. Now the cons which we feel are fairly important. Property details on this site are incorrect. The condo is NOT 1500sq.ft as listed in amenities. It is approximately 850sq.ft. including the balcony (easily calculated using the 2x2 tile flooring). There is no dining room as stated in the ad. The balcony does not have direct access to the pool and beach as it is technically on the second floor. It is not a ground floor unit. The second bedroom is extremely small. It fits the 2 twin beds with about a foot in between. There is a closet for storage but is also houses towels and linens so space was limited. The second bedroom does not have a full ensuite bathroom. Only a shower. The toilet and sink are across the hall in the laundry room.Both the air conditioner in the livingroom and the wifi router did not work. The wifi was fixed immediately however we were led to believe the owner did not authorize to have the air conditioner fixed. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this condo but we feel we were a little misled by the ad. It is very cramped for 4 adults. However we would return in a heartbeat if it was just the 2 of us.
