I love the location of the property and the variety of pools and beach. There was food most of the time however the menu was not very kids friendly except for fries. There were no chicken options. The food was good and most of the staff were very friendly to ensure guest feel welcome. The cleaning crew tries their best but the owners need to invest to make the rooms clean of bugs. I was expecting more for a 5 star hotel but was deceived by mosquitoes, roaches and other bugs in the rooms. Also for a kids friendly place there was no smoke free area. I found that some of the staff were not as kind to the local guests. I was served cold food at the a la carte restaurant and was asked to wait but non local looking people were allowed in quick and served properly. There were many activities but people had to do their own search for activities.Transportation not offered and shows were at other locations. No clear map of the property. I have to say that Antonio and Castillo were excellent servers at the Buffett breakfast & dinner. I spoke with some of the guys from reception who tried so hard to ensure that issues were resolved. Rene, Rismery, Daniel and David went above to assist with some issues. Although the place looks great on the pictures the facilities are not maintained properly and some things malfunction. The sink in my room was working only on one side. The sheets were dirty or stain and for a 5 star hotel I expected quality and cleanliness. Hotel is overpriced neglected.
