Very bad hotel!!

If you are trying to relax and enjoy your time in a adults only hotel, please do not go there. A construction is going on in the main lobby, so they have to use the same lobby for the adults only hotel. on bar in the main lobby by you really can't enjoy one drink because it's to manny kids screaming and playing right next to you. Food! Let me tell you. Only one restaurant in the adults only hotel, (bad food) open certain hours, so If you are really hungry you need to walk to the other hotel and eat there with a lot of kids. Not worth it. I won't go back there. There is more things to talk about but I don't have more time.

Nailed it!

We went for our 20th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The staff was awesome. The room was great. Every single amenity was included and fabulous. We were asked about a time share but no high pressure. We kindly declined and they thanked us for the time we sent with them (3 whole minutes). The pool was great. My husband loved the lobster. Drinks were never ending. We do not have a single complaint. Check out was simple and easy. Note:This location is about 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta. Initially, we were concerned about the distance but realized very quickly that we didn't need to be in town. We hired a car to/from the airport. And we arranged one tour in town to see some sights. In reality, we never needed to go to town had I not booked the tour before arriving, although the tour was great. City tour with lunch and tequila. Great food and tequila.

El hotel es tranquilo, limpio, bien construído, con muy bonitas vistas del mar desde la alberca. Las habitaciones son cómodas y frescas. Todo está diseñado para descansar y pasarla bien. El único aspecto malo es la comida, la preparación de los alimentos no es variada por lo que no tienen buena cocina. Por lo demás, nuestra estancia fue muy placentera.

This Hotel is perfect for the getaway experience!

While it is connected to the larger Palladium Hotel which you can explore as well, you will find yourself in perfect seclusion staying at the Royal Suites. The beach front view suites are amazing. The stay at the Royal Suites gives you access to the Zentropia Spa at the Palladium and this is also a place you and your wife can get away to and feel like you are in seclusion. The bars at The Suites have Top Shelf liquor and the restaurant is A la carte and has a breathtaking view. Ocean and Pool water temperature is about 85 degrees and is pleasantly refreshing. I would say perfect. The staff are very polite and always greet you in the halls and on the grounds. Room service is included so take advantage of breakfast in bed. You can also book at the other Al La Carte themed restaurants at the Palladium Hotel as long as you book by 2 PM the second day. Book a sunset dinner at the Viva Mexico hotel and enjoy a breathtaking sunset. My wife and I stayed here as a second honeymoon to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. If you love surfing than Punta De Mita is the place for you! This was a nice surprise. I highly recommend this property. The setting is idealic!

Great hotel for a relaxing experience.

I loved everything except the welcoming to the hotel. One of the girls on the stuff looked at me and my partner as if we didn't belong there I understand it's a 4-5 star hotels but the looks on a person shouldn't be judged on first impression however the rest of the staff was great specially main receptionist Cecilia was her name. And also hotel restaurant was awesome. Would definitely recommend but they could improve on how they judge there guests on looks.

Amazing all inclusive adults only Resort!

We had the most amazing time at the Royal Suites! The rooms were large and nice! The Staff was very helpful and friendly! The adults only side has a bar in the lobby as well as one by the pool, a great restaurant with different menu choices (all good food with large portions) and a snack bar that will deliver snack food and drinks to you poolside (drinks are allowed in the pool in plastic cups)!! There were several other restraunts and bars on the non-royal (kids welcome) side of the resort that we had access to as well (included). Endless Food & Drink (even room service and mini bar are included!), beautiful weather and beautiful water! The Royal side was never crowded, we really were treated like royalty! All inclusive is the way to go!

Anniversary Trip

Right on the ocean, my wife and I spent our time laying by the pool and on the sundeck. The beach is pretty rocky but is to be expected on the Pacific side. The food was good but not excellent. Our room was perfect. We sat on our balcony drinking pina coladas and reading out books. Everything was always clean and everyone always friendly. If you want to spend a lot of time in the ocean, I would reccomend the Carribean side of Mexico. If you want a quiet, secluded jungle hotel, this is the one for you!

El hotel es cómodo, el servicio es bueno, la atención en la alberca muy buena. La comida no esta muy buena, en casi todos los restaurantes y muy lenta la atención en los restaurantes a la carta. Por las noches el acceso a nuestra torre de habitaciones apestaba mucho, porque riegan las plantas con aguas negras y eso da muy mala impresión al hotel. PÉSIMO el poner una DJ en la alberca de solo adultos con música para adolescentes a todo volumen.

Smaller resort but very friendly and fun

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of service and care the staff made our vacation memorable. Omar, Oscar and Jesus were there for all our needs and even just to say good morning or how we are doing. Loved the personal attention and service they provided.

Staff is wonderful. Relaxing stay.

The staff was always very helpful. The view is absolutely beautiful. This is the first time my husband and I stayed at an adult only resort. I would recommend it to anyone, especially The Royal Suites.

Nice hotel that does most things right

The hotel itself is nice but not perfect. We are not picky with rooms so it suited us. The adult only side of the hotel begins to get small within a few days. There isn't much variety unless you cross into the family side and food quality seemed to drop drastically in the family side. All in all it was a good trip for the money but little details seemed to fall through the cracks. It took two days to get our free bottle of liquor delivered to our room. There's no bottle opener for the all inclusive beer but there's a wine opener for the pay for use wine. Service was slow on every meal and we frequently had empty glasses. It seemed like they were always having to make another pot of coffee. The adult only beach is pretty but rocky. I think most people would get irritated from constantly waiting on service and that's why I wouldn't recommend the resort to friends without a disclaimer about inconsistent service. The food was great occasionally but average consistently. Decent resort if you find a good deal and can handle some minor inconvenience and occasional frustration.

Hotel was not a five star closer to a four and a half star. Hotel staff varied from excellent - Victor to fair. Service wasn't consistent in the Punta Mita restaurant. Rooms were nice, bed was comfortable. Buffet was very good. Service was only fair not excellent. Staff overall friendly but slow at times.

Ok hotel - needs remodel

The professional pictures of the hotel are not what actually it looks like. Hotel is older and our room smelled of mildew. We checked in - then next person did the timeshare pitch. Older croud - everyone was in their 60's or older. I will not be staying at the hotel again.

Not bad for the price

Never have stayed in an all inclusive before. This was an OK hotel, kind of noisy, could here people walking around upstairs and outside your room. Also, every time someone went to the bathroom or would drain their tub, you would here it in the walls pretty loudly. The one glaring negative that stood out was the smell. They use sewer water to water their gardens and the smell carries through the resort. I know many places in Mexico do something similar, but this was really bad and hard to stomach. The restaurants for breakfast was nice, great service and good food, but for dinner, I would eat outside of the resort as the food was very average, tasted like it was prepared for the masses.

El recibimiento fue muy bueno por parte del staff. Sin embargo, nosotros habíamos pedido una habitación con 2 camas y fue hasta el segundo día que nos asignaron esta habitación. El staff del hotel es muy amable y servicial. Lo único es que en el restaurante de adultos son un poco lentos. Excelente atención del staff de la piscina. La aplicación nos funcionó muy bien para comunicarnos con el concierge. La playa no es tan linda ya que tiene demasiado sargazo y es difícil nadar ahí.

The staff at this hotel made us feel like royalty.

We just got back from our 10 day stay at this incredible resort and the staff made us feel like royalty. It was very homey and immaculately kept. The amazing staff was constantly striving to improve our experience and they did it with smiles and class. Whenever there was a minor hiccup, they went above and beyond and overcompensated. The food choices were almost endless and if you didn't care for the variety at one place, there was always the outstanding buffet. The Mexican restaurant and ribs and more were our favorites. The beach was great as well as the tropical surf. The bartenders had spectacular attitudes and could make you any kind of drink you want and probably 20 more you never thought of. The Fantasma was my favorite drink on their menu. You have your choice of activities and honestly, we couldn't possibly keep up with the choices there. We played a fair amount of pool in the sports bar and enjoyed beach combing. It is about a one hour bus ride into the city of Puerto Vallarta, but we enjoyed going back and forth for only a couple bucks each way. (This is the cheapest option, if you are ok with a bit of a thrill ride :) The room service was such a luxury and was included with our stay. We will really miss this place and were truly sad to leave. They even made us drinks to go on our way out. The shows were high caliber, especially the dancers. The Royal Suites at the Grand Palladium exceed our expectations in every way possible
