Our Story
Edenia is the home of Janet and Todd, seasoned adventurers and passionate educators. Janet, one of the only 3 women to traverse Mt. Everest from China to Nepal, and Todd, who sailed around the world for 15 years without an engine, bring their rich history and love for exploration to Edenia. Their stories and experiences add a unique and inspiring narrative to your stay, making every moment at Edenia feel like part of an epic adventure.

Our commitment to sustainable living is reflected in every aspect of our property, from the recycled wood and eco-friendly materials used in construction to the organic farming practices we employ. Yet, we also embrace the benefits of modern technology, integrating digital learning and state-of-the-art equipment to enhance our guests' experience.
Accommodations
Each of our six bedrooms is uniquely decorated to reflect different adventures and expeditions. Infused with the charm of old whitewashed windows and teak woodwork, our rooms offer a cozy retreat with amenities including air conditioning and Wifi.
Guests can relax in our serene pool area, maintain their fitness routines in our well-equipped workout space, and cook in our open kitchen which fosters community and shared experiences. Our digital learning space offers opportunities to explore new skills and knowledge, from sustainable living practices to advanced adventure planning.

Our collaboration with Suan Jai Ban Kai Yee and Artisan Koh Yao Yai enhances the Edenia experience, promoting sustainable tourism and community engagement. Suan Jai Ban Kai Yee, located in Rawai, is a vibrant community hub that champions eco-friendly practices and offers a hands-on approach to learning about sustainable farming, food production, and reforestation.
Suan Jai Ban Kai Yee is currently undergoing renovation and construction. We warmly invite volunteers to assist with the renovation, construction, and farm work in exchange for discounted stays. Your help is greatly appreciated and will contribute to the creation of a vibrant, sustainable community hub.
Guests can participate in daily farming activities, from planting seeds to harvesting crops, and gain a deep understanding of sustainable agriculture practices. The farm also serves as a venue for workshops on permaculture, organic gardening, and eco-friendly living.

This unique tour offers a continuous flow of exploration and relaxation, promoting our shared vision of sustainability and immersion in the natural world.
Start your adventure at Artisan Koh Yao Yai or Suan Jai Ban Kai Yee, and sail across the pristine waters of the Andaman Sea. Along the way, enjoy guided snorkeling sessions, explore hidden coves, and learn about the vibrant marine ecosystem. As the sun sets, arrive at Suan Jai Ban Kai Yee, our playful bamboo and recycled wood village. Here, you can taste our native cuisine, enjoy relaxing massages with our coco herbal oils, and explore the trails and reefs of the cove. Set up camp, enjoy a bonfire, share stories under the stars, and sleep in comfortable tents, surrounded by nature. Please take note that this adventure will require a 2-week advance notice for proper planning and logistical provisioning.
