Welcome to Sea La Vie, located in the beautifully maintained Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club community. This 2,800-square-foot, recently renovated home sleeps 10 people and is 2 miles from the beach. It is perfect for families who want plenty of space to entertain and relax.

Huge, fully equipped kitchen with separate coffee nook, granite countertops with peninsula, adjacent to breakfast table seating 4. The open kitchen plan connects with a cozy family room with an L-shaped sofa and chairs for a movie on the Roku TV or game night, with a collection of provided games stored on the coffee table.

Sunlight bathes the breakfast area through a sliding glass door leading to a large multi-use screened-in porch featuring a long rectangular dining table that can seat 6-10 and a lounge area with upholstered porch furniture. Stretch out for naps, read a book from the library collection inside, and enjoy the breeze from double ceiling fans. At night, enjoy porch cafe lights that activate automatically after sunset.

Step out to the back yard from the screened in porch to find a charcoal grill on the patio and a landscaped back yard, perfect for lawn games, such as the cornhole set stored in the two-car garage.

Need more spaces to relax or entertain indoors? The separate living room and formal dining room are on the other side of the kitchen and foyer. They are furnished comfortably and away from the TV and game area on the family room side.

Step out your keyless-entry front door onto the covered front porch to peek at the sparkling canal down the street to your right. Enjoy a quiet stroll around the neighborhood for more views of the winding canals and bay.

Ride your bike, take the nearby Rehoboth Beach Shuttle, or take the short drive to the beaches, downtown restaurants, and shops. Bring the kids to Jungle Jim’s water slide park, only 1 mile away, or to Funland on the boardwalk. Shop the multiple Tanger outlet centers (the closest of which is only 1.8 miles) or take advantage of the many restaurants on Route 1 with free parking.

After a long day, enjoy off-street parking for up to 4 cars, rinse off sandy feet with the outdoor hose, leave the sandy stuff in the garage (including any beach chairs you borrowed from the garage, please), and head upstairs to one of the 4 upstairs bedrooms, two with Roku TV’s. Enjoy a sudsy bath or an easy shower in one of the two tubs in newly renovated spacious full bathrooms. Do you have an extra teen who needs their own spot, or someone who works remotely? Tuck away into the small but mighty office/den/mini-bedroom at the end of a quiet hall, past the powder room and laundry room, complete with a work desk and a futon that flattens to a full-size futon mattress.

Sea La Vie has everything you need for comfort: central air, a washer/dryer and laundry sink, a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and cooktop. The fully equipped kitchen offers generous counter space, and dogs are welcome.

Things to know: Linens are not supplied. However, we do offer a rental package to guests. The fireplace is not accessible to guests. Up to two dogs permitted with a pet fee per dog.
