The Neighborhood:

Reno, Nevada and the surrounding area offer a wide variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities. With excellent weather, residents and visitors can enjoy the nearby spectacular Lake Tahoe and the largest concentration of ski facilities in the world, all within a fifty-mile radius. Outdoor activities such as biking, camping, hunting, fishing, and mountain climbing are popular among residents and visitors. In addition, kayaking and paddle boarding are available behind the marina waterfront building. Located minutes from the Row, which includes Circus Circus, El Dorado, and the Silver Legacy complex, you can try your luck at gambling or catch a great show. The National Bowling Stadium, where professional bowling tournaments are held, is also located downtown, just blocks from the Row. The Riverwalk, featuring the Truckee River on one side and world-class restaurants on the other, is a great place to people-watch, enjoy a meal, take in the view, and visit a microbrewery or two just south of the main downtown area.

This apartment was exactly what we wanted in a vacation rental. We walked in and it was so spacious. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities and the living room was perfect for our little toddler. The rooms were great size and even better was the comfortable bed & pillows. This is always the hardest part of booking for me but our stay was outstanding. Free & secure garage parking as well as additional free parking outside if needed. Everything about our stay was perfect and would definitely book this apartment again and highly recommend to anyone in the Reno area.

Really enjoyed the area. The Sparks Marina has a lot to offer. The apt complex is fantastic. I rent a lot through VRBO and never haveI put in a complaint regarding a rental. This is way out of my character but this was soooo unacceptable I need the OWNERS to be aware of these shortcomings. Checkin was not acceptable, We we’re approved for a 2:00 checkin and couldn’t access the apt until 4:20, regular checkin was at 3:00. We had perishables that needed to be refrigerated but the frig was still dirty so we asked, at 2:20pm, if she could “At The Least”wipe it out for us. I’m not sure what was cleaned, as the apt was filthy when we finally checked in. It still had black hairs in the bathroom, kitchen/living room floor had dirt and crumbs so my husband had to revacum and mop the area. I asked the cleaner to please make sure the sofa bed was changed. When I pulled it out, linens were not changed, bed had black hair on it, dirty spots on sheets and the topper was a dirty tissue in the bed. Then the garbage disposal backed and it was a nightmare trying to get maintenance in on Sunday to fix. She even left linens in The dryer. Though the manager was friendly, she kept giving excuses why the place took so long to clean etc. Overall, I would stay at this apt complex but will NEVER book through Lusso AGAIN. We left a day early, I had such a bad experience in the apt.

Great location; great for our family

The location is great! The apartment complex has great amenities and is very quiet. Dedicated parking in the garage was also really nice. We used the pool & hot tub every day. With the building next to the Marina, there is a lot of bird poop on the pool deck/furnishings/in the pool - maintenance at the complex could tend to this better. The same goes for the dog park area - even on the 4th floor going into the parking garage, you can smell the urine/feces of the dog park on the ground floor. The apartment itself was really nicely furnished with everything our family needed. Having two bathrooms and an in-unit washer/dryer was great! The cleaning team may have been rushed, as certain things were overlooked/lacking, like vacuuming & cleaning the showers. There were towels in the dryer, dishes in the dishwasher & hair on the clean towels that we were able to rewash. Management was super responsive and helpful. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Clean and quiet one bedroom apt- Barely any view

The one star on accuracy of the listing is because we arrived to find out the apt we had rented because it had a view was no longer available. The one we ended up in was clean, well furnished, well lit and has a very comfortable King size bed, but no view, except windows of neighbors. However, it has a well stocked kitchen and equipped with utensils and coffee/ tea /spices. The toaster broke and Lussostay provided a new one the same day. We spent 3 and 1/2 weeks and cooked all our meals there . Unfortunately, the ventilation system ( no fault of the owner) is terrible: cooking odors stay as well as residents' cigarette or weed smoke (which is forbidden on the property) waft in. Located on the marina, the walking loop around the lake is a great outdoor plus. Lusso stay was very responsive about everything and was a great landlord. They immediately recognize that the error of renting out the wrong apartment will need to be compensated for the difference between the 2. Also the parking was great and the property felt very safe. All things considered, I would stay there again .
