Nestled on a quiet country road, surrounded by rolling hills and lush farm land, this clean, comfy and cozy, newly redecorated cabin is just minutes away from all of the popular area destinations. A short, picturesque drive will lead you to the beautiful and historic Village of Cooperstown, the Fenimore Art Museum, Glimmerglass Opera, the Farmer’s Museum, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass State Park, the Otesaga Resort, and SO much more…

A year round rental with cell service, Wi-Fi and Satellite TV, Cabin #1 at The Lazy Squirrel has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 4 people, but with the full size, pull out sofa in the living area, it can sleep 6. Bedroom #1 has a Queen size bed; Bedroom #2 has two Single size beds.

The kitchen/dining room contains a full size oven/ stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, a “coffee station” and seating for six people. We have a washer/dryer combo and an ironing board and iron for your convenience. There is a stand up shower in the shared bathroom.

Relax on the covered porch or around the fire pit, both of which offer Adirondack style chairs for your use. The back yard is the perfect place for some friendly game competition, so bring your cornhole boards, Giant Jenga or croquet!

For the snowmobilers, there is easy access to the NYS snowmobile trails from The Lazy Squirrel Property. There is a 6’ x 9’ outside, chain link kennel at this cabin, which may be used under certain conditions by those approved to bring their family dog (see Pet Policies and Rules).
