It accommodates up to 19 guests, providing a splendid backdrop for your special occasions. For your convenience, the property offers complimentary Wi-Fi and free parking. All bedrooms come with a TV for your entertainment. Bring your furry friends along! The Manor welcomes up to two pets for an additional charge.

The Manor at Minstrel Court is a historic Tudor manor located on the border of Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, near the town of Royston. As a prominent wedding and event venue, the area surrounding The Manor at Minestrel Court is characterised by a tranquil, rural setting with a focus on natural beauty. The nearby countryside offers a peaceful escape, while the convenience of being close to Royston and a short drive from Cambridge provides access to local amenities, including shops, restaurants, and museums.

Ground Floor

Porch & Entrance Lobby

From the main entrance, you'll find a beautiful porch with plenty of space for coats, shoes, and umbrellas. The entrance lobby leads to the pool room, which includes a small pool table and a foosball table. From there, you can access the games room, which is stocked with board games, colourful bean bags, and a Nintendo console with a flat-screen TV. The entrance area also connects to a shower room and the main living room. For your comfort, the entire house is equipped with underfloor heating and an Alexa device in every room.

Living Room

The Manor features a spacious double living room, complete with four comfortable sofas, two cosy fireplaces (one of which is functional), and original ceiling beams. A 70-inch smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services provides entertainment for guests.

Conservatory

The conservatory connects to the living room and can be closed off through folding doors if need be. It acts as an open-plan dining area to the kitchen, and boasts an extra-large dining table seating up to 20, a wood stove, and a snug angle with a hanging egg chair and some comfortable bean bags. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling doors, it offers beautiful views of the lake and grounds. If hired with the rest of the venue, the doors can all be opened up to give direct access for a garden party. Three skylights also offer plenty of natural light, even if the curtains are drawn closed.

Kitchen

The double kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. It includes two sinks, a double-sized American fridge-freezer, two ovens, and two additional microwaves with oven functions. You'll also find two induction hobs, a convenient island, and a dishwasher, along with cooking equipment, serving dishes, and utensils.

Utility

Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room that includes a washing machine, dryer, an additional dishwasher, and a sink, so you don't have to worry about your laundry needs.

First Floor

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom features a super-king bed, a walk-in wardrobe, and a flat-screen TV. A large mirror allows for beautiful photos of you getting ready for your special event. There's a safe by the entrance to the en-suite. The en-suite itself is an extremely impressive and welcoming space: take a relaxing bath by the crackling fire, or enjoy brushing your teeth by the double sinks without having to fight for space with your partner! The bathroom features both a bath and a shower for your comfort.

Second Suite

The second suite also benefits from a super-king bed, a walk-in wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite shower room with views of the lake and gardens.

Bunk Room

While the bunk room is a bit more packed than the other two rooms, it still has a walk-in wardrobe and a beautiful en-suite shower room with its own flat-screen TV. Perfect room for all your bridesmaids to share and chat until late in the night!

Second Floor

The top floor is accessed by a spiral staircase and has a somewhat restrictive ceiling height, so if you are super tall, you may want to leave this to others in the group! There are two bedrooms in the attic and a shared shower room. Guests staying in the attic can also make use of the shower room on the ground floor. While sleeping 9 in the attic across the two rooms is definitely possible, it is more suitable for children than adults if you fill every single bed due to the size of the rooms. Having said that, children would probably love cuddling up in the space!

Group Room

The larger of the two rooms in the attic consists of four single beds, so the groomsmen don't need to share! Two of the beds have an extra mattress under them, so if you pull the trundles out, you can sleep up to 6 in this room. This room also features a flat-screen TV for your entertainment. While this makes the space tight and mobility difficult, it also offers some of the best views in the house.

Triple Room

While strictly speaking a twin room, one of the beds in this room is also a trundle bed, so if pulled out can turn the room into a triple room. A flat-screen TV is available in this room.

Bathrooms :

The property has a total of four full bathrooms. Two of these are en-suite: the master bedroom's bathroom includes both a bath and a shower, while the other features a walk-in shower. There are also two additional bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, both with walk-in showers. For your convenience, hairdryers are available in the property.

An on-site laundry room, featuring a washing machine and a tumble dryer, is accessible to guests at any time. Adjoining the kitchen is a utility with a washing machine, dryer, additional dishwasher and sink.

The conservatory in The Manor is a licensed ceremony area and is perfect for intimate weddings of 20-30 people. While only 19 guests can sleep in The Manor, additional accommodation is available on site with applicable charges.
