The Neighborhood:

This lodge is perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy the beauty and peace of their surroundings, and handily within a 5 minutes’ drive from the bustling Victorian Sea Side Town of Ryde, on the North East coast of the island, with its golden sands, boutique shops, pubs, restaurant’s and numerous café’s. Off-road parking for 1 car.

Roebeck Country Park is a family owned and operated park and set within beautiful countryside with views of the Ashey Valley. The park offers a secluded and tranquil location with a private fishing lake stocked with carp and tench (licence is required) and ancient woodland.



Getting Around:

Using the postcode in satnav might confuse things, Roebeck is on Google Maps, which will help you more. There are a few ways to get to Roebeck, so worth looking at the map.



From the Fishbourne Wightlink Ferry, turn right out of the ferry port, continue all the way to the end of the road, and at the traffic lights, turn left towards Ryde. Contine along A3054, passing Quarr Abbey on your left, at the top of Quarr Hill, turn right onto Newnham Road (3rd exit). Continue along Newnham Road, passing Reynolds and Reed, follow the road around to the right, continue down the hill, then turn left onto Stroud Wood Road, continue along the road, passing Fairfields Farm on your left, continue up to the top of the hill, (Upton Cross) at the mini roundabout continue over onto Carters Road. Continue down Carters Road, turn right into Roebeck Country Park. Continue along the drive, follow the road around to the right, continue up the road, you will see the office on your right and the first lodge on your left. Continue passing the lodges by the lower lake, bare right up the hill passing the top lake on your left. Continue up towards the North Field (passing the bin store on the left) Take the 2nd right hand turning. N34 is the first lodge on the right-hand side. Parking is on the left side of the lodge.



The key safe is at the top of the steps by the entrance door.
