Shell House is an entire home, offering guests full access to all areas of the property, including the private garden, living spaces, and bedrooms, ensuring a completely comfortable and exclusive stay.
Other things to note
We want to try to cater for all guests, therefore please do bear in mind this is our family home and there are a few additional rules:
- This is your home to use, please care for it as such
- As we're just steps from the beach, you may notice a little bit of sand making its way into the house—it's all part of the coastal charm!
- While Shell House is not directly on the beach, it’s just 50 yards away, only a couple of minutes' walk to the golden sands of Camber.
- Please note the sandy road leading to the property can be a bit bumpy, so it’s not ideal for low-ride vehicles like Ferraris.
- The driveway can fit two cars, making parking easy and convenient!
- Parties are strictly prohibited and an extra £400 fee will apply should any house rules be broken.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited and an extra £250 fee will apply should any rules be broken.
- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
- Pets allowed only upon prior request
- Hosts will accept up to 2 dogs with a fee of £20
- No unregistered guests allowed
- Our lovely neighbours have families and need to protect them so if there is any excessive noise or music at antisocial hours, we will be notified and so will the local council.
Please be sure to respect this wonderful community of neighbours.
- Keep the noise down, especially after 10pm.
- Please make sure to lock the door and all the windows when leaving the property
- Please respect check-in and check-out times. Standard check-in time is 3pm onwards, and check-out time is before 11am.
- The full address will be provided prior to your check-in, together with the access details.
- Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee.
A fee will be charged for call out if you forget the keys inside the house.
- Filming enquiries can be accepted by pre-arrangement at an extra charge
- Please ensure you fully tidy up after your pet.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
