Welcome to "Sunrise Sanctuary", Rye's newest boutique rental accommodation. With 10 units on the property, all with stunning water views, across the street from the ocean, and a short walk to Wallis Sands Beach. Unit 9 features sizable front windows with an ocean view and a comfortable couch to accompany it. Relax on your private deck with ample outdoor furniture while you take in the partial view and sea breeze.

Cleaning - Our cleaners are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations (doorknobs, surfaces, light switches, remote controls, tables, fan and lamp chains, thermostats etc).

Important - We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrance. This is not monitored but does record. We also have a Minut noise monitor system located inside the property in the kitchen/living room. This is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, it does not record sound but allows us to respond to noise nuisances in a timely manner to ensure all neighbors are being respected. Minute is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. These are to keep all guests safe and to keep the property secure. Thanks for understanding!

The Neighborhood:
The Town of Rye, New Hampshire is located on the Atlantic Coast, a one hour drive by car from Boston, Massachusetts; Portland, Maine or the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains. Although Rye has a total area of 35.5 square miles, 64.45% of it (22.9 square miles) is wetland or marsh. The Town of Rye has the longest stretch of coastline of any New Hampshire coastal town and also contains four of the nine islands known as the Isles of Shoals which lie approximately ten miles off the Rye shores. Rye is known for it's beautiful unique beaches, tasty seafood, plenty of coastal fun and is ideally sandwiched between Hampton to it's south and Portsmouth to it's north.

Getting Around:
This unit is walking distance to Wallis Sands, but you will need a car to get to the property.

Fantastic spot!

I've been vacationing in this area for many many many years and this is by far my favorite spot. The views are amazing, the deck was so nice to have, the property was in great shape, had everything I could have wanted/needed, and the management company is super responsive.

Location great. View from front window stunning. Deck on back not front of condo - view of water limited. Property owner very responsive. Property a bit more worn than photos depict. Needs screen on bedroom window and back door. Perhaps cleaning staff should more aggressively address kitchen floor, cabinets and drawers, soiled rug in living room, etc. Not deal-breakers - but needs a bit of TLC.

3 day getaway

Easy to get to and great views right from the living room and deck. Perfect if visiting the area and want ocean views. Our son crawled a lot on the floor and his knees were pretty dirty. We informed the owners and they would relay the message to the cleaners. Would definitely rent again.

Unbeatable location!

The listing was as advertised and the view from the room did not disappoint! I’m glad this unit had the parking spot it did, as other spots were tight. You are literally right across the road from a rocky beach and just a short walk to a sandy beach. We unfortunately didn’t get a sunrise because of a hazy morning but I imagine it would have been extraordinary had the weather cooperated. The kitchen seemed to have everything needed, though we didn’t cook in the one night we were there. Comfortable and clean living room furnishings.The bathroom was clean. The bedroom has no tv, but who needs a tv with a view like we had. The bed is firm but comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and well kept! Host was very responsive to messages. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night and can’t wait to return!

Spring getaway

My wife and I needed a week on the beach as we are caregivers and needed time for respite and revitalization. This unit was ideal. From the moment you see the view from the living room bay window and hear the waves crashing on the rocks you are transported to a place of calm and serenity. This unit was well equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were lucky enough to have one sling nor’easter during our stay and the plow crew was diligent in clearing snow and salting so we could get out for dinner. Also the parking unit is directly under the stairs protected from the sun and snow which made it convenient for unloading and clearing off the car. If you plan to go make sure it’s because you are looking for peace and quiet. This experience would of been gravely different if the the other vacationers were loud and boisterous. Quiet hours begin at 9:30 PM so if you plan on late night card games or parties forget about it! This is not your spot. Communication was very good with property management as well. If you are a beach comber or want to meditate and sip on a glass of wine you will surely enjoy your stay.

2 day winter get away for Mother/daughter was perfect

My daughter (20) and I wanted to get away for a short couple days and just relax and spend time together. Most important was that it be facing and close to/on the ocean. Well this was exactly what we were looking for- couldn't ask for a better view. We had everything we needed to cozy up in this nice spot overlooking the ocean while we cooked together, did some exploring in the area and relaxed. The unit had everything we needed, was very clean and management was thorough and responsive. We will be returning likely for another off-season short get-away!

Location Location Location & an amazing Vacation

The minute you walk in & see the view - wow ... open spacious space with wonderful high-end finishes in the kitchen & bathroom. Loved walking to the beach & back - easy even for us two 71 & 75-year-olds carrying boogie boards, chairs, and towels. Spent evenings after dinner on the beach across from where we stayed listening & watching the waves & smelling the salt air until sunset. So restful. We would come back again.
