Charming 3b/2b Waterfront Bluff Villa 2017 on Dataw w/ Beach Pass & Bikes

It's time to relax! As you make your way down the beautiful causeway with majestic live oaks that lead to Dataw Island, you will feel as though you are entering a different world. Wake up to one of the best water views on the island with vistas from every room overlooking the pristine waters of Jenkins Creek. Catch a glimpse of a bald eagle flying overhead or dolphins catching their meal from the porch and tidal dock, located directly behind the villa. . The dock is also a great place to throw in a fishing line, crab pot or put in a kayak.

Explore the history of the area while touring the island's historic ruins. With 5 miles of walking trails, the island is a great place to unwind while taking a walk or riding a bike. Take a historic tour of downtown Beaufort where you can enjoy the waterfront park, with its many shops and galleries, take a carriage ride, or enjoy lunch or dinner at one of many fabulous restaurants. The pristine natural beach at Hunting Island State Park, fishing pier and nature center is just a short 15-minute drive from the villa.

Our lovely peaceful getaway is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with one bedroom on the 1st floor featuring a king size bed and a private completely renovated bath with zero threshold walk in shower. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms – one smaller bedroom with 2 twin beds and the other with a king size bed where you will wake up to breathtaking views of the water. Both bedrooms upstairs share a full bath that is located in between the 2 bedrooms. Smart TVs are located in each of the 3 bedrooms for your viewing enjoyment.

The first floor has an open concept, fully equipped kitchen that is open to the 2 story living area with wood burning fireplace and a comfortable dining room that seats 6. Windows along the entire back wall of the property provide magnificent coastal marsh and water views from every vantage point. Enjoy watching your favorite show while cooking a meal in the open concept kitchen. A griddle top gas grill is also provided for outdoor grilling enthusiasts.

The villa is perfectly outfitted for beach trips with a complimentary beach pass, beach towels & 4 beach chairs. The villa also comes with 2 adult bicycles for our guests' enjoyment for use on the island during your stay.

A washer and dryer are provided, along with a desk and fiber optic high speed wifi internet. The villa is pet friendly with prior approval.

Perfect your golf game on two private 18-hole golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Arthur Hills, a driving range, and 8 har tru tennis courts (golf and tennis pros are available for lessons). The outdoor resort style pool is just a short walk from the villa with amazing views of the water and a concession stand for snacks and cold drinks to quench your thirst when soaking up the rays on a warm summer afternoon. With 3 different dining options on the island (2 within walking distance), you can hang up your apron and enjoy a gourmet meal or a burger at the pub on a night out. The private club also provides state of the art pickleball, bocce ball & professional croquet courts to enjoy, a fitness center with a full time physical therapist and trainer on staff, a spa, masseuse, yoga classes, and an indoor olympic size swimming pool. There is also a full-service marina for those who like to travel by boat. Golf cart rentals are also available.

All the club's amenities are accessible to our guests (additional fees may apply depending on the length of stay). Fees for use of the marina, golf, tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, croquet, fitness classes, masseuse, and croquet are additional.

Dataw Island is a gated community located on the intercoastal waterway only an hour away from Charleston, Hilton Head and Savannah. The villa is also just 15 minutes from downtown Beaufort, the pristine beaches at Hunting Island State Park and Parris Island.
