Casa 2040 Family-Friendly Chalet Saint-Véran
Welcome to CASA-2040 is a spacious and welcoming chalet at the entrance to Saint-Véran, just a five-minute walk from the first ski lift and ski touring trails. Designed for families and groups of friends, it can comfortably accommodate up to fourteen people, offering ample space for socializing while still preserving quiet, private areas.
On the ground floor, the chalet features both a professional kitchen and a family kitchen, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable for large groups. A spacious dining room and a cozy living room with a bar area provide the perfect setting for convivial meals or lively conversations after a day on the slopes or exploring the mountains. Outside, a shaded terrace with several coffee tables and ample seating provides a perfect spot to enjoy the fresh Alpine air.
The first floor includes four comfortable bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds (90 x 190) and can be converted into a double bed . The second bedroom is equipped with a double bed (140 x 190) and a single bed (90 x 190), while the third also offers a double bed (140 x 190) and a single bed (90 x 190). These two bedrooms have access to a sunny balcony with a magnificent mountain view. The fourth bedroom has a double bed (140 x 190), its own private bathroom , a television and a small sunny balcony.
On the second floor, you will find a living room with a smart TV, a small dining area with a table, chair and fridge , and a workspace. Two additional bedrooms are located on this level: one with two single beds (90 x 190) and the other with a double bed (160 x 200). These two bedrooms also have access to a sunny balcony with a magnificent view of the valley . This floor also includes a bathroom with a shower and separate toilets.
The chalet has been designed to make families feel at home, with large common areas for sharing meals and games, private bedrooms for added comfort, and practical amenities such as a baby bed and high chair available upon request.
At 2040 meters altitude, Saint-Véran is the highest village in Europe and part of the Queyras Regional Nature Park, officially recognized as one of the most beautiful villages of France. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, preserved heritage, ski slopes in winter, and endless hiking trails in summer, it is a truly enchanting destination in every season.
This chalet is the ideal base for family holidays, reunions with friends, or multi-generation stays, offering comfort, space, and the authentic charm of Saint-Véran.
Pets are also welcome, with a maximum of 2 per stay and a fee of thirty euros each.
Parking is available across the street for fifteen euros per week.
If you require linens and towels, we offer them for rent at a small additional fee.
