Great spot for extended family. We rented this house plus house next door. Enjoyed the roomy layout, excellent location - convenient for downtown Salida, nearby mountains for hiking and biking, outdoor patio chairs. We had a great visit in Salida, it felt like a home away from home. This house is very spacious and lovely. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is large and easy to use. We were able to cook some meals and also go out to eat. It was very nice that the owner allows dogs, so we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed the nice sidewalks for walking and the fenced in back yard. Lots of nice shops and restaurants to walk to. Only about 30 minutes to drive Monarch mountain for skiing.

Great place to stay in Salida. Close to Riverside park and downtown. This home was perfect for 7 adults and 1 dog.Kitchen was well equipped, the beds were all super comfortable.

Excellent location to downtown Salida

Property was located perfect for easy access to downtown Salida. Surface cleaning was good but a deep clean of furniture and underneath is needed. Internet worked well but did crash several times and needed rebooting of router. There are multiple levels leading to the living area and one of the bedrooms, seemingly due to it being a converted carport. The levels didn't pose too many problems but not apparent from the property description or pictures. Despite the few minor issues, we would stay again at this location.

Huge house!

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers!) had plenty of room in this house. It was nice to have so many bathrooms so no one had to fight over them. The location was fantastic! Shops and restaurants were just a couple of blocks away and easy to walk to. We were even able to easily watch the 4th of July fireworks show from the front yard! Communication with the host was fast, easy, and friendly. We had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation!

Fantastic Weekend Stay

Great location, lots of space, clean and homey

Great home-base to explore Salida, as well as to hang out and chill at home. Great to have so many beds/baths for separate families and kids to be able to be there without getting in each others' way.
