Mountain Majesty Retreat: Your Basecamp Between the Canyons
Welcome to your dream mountain escape, nestled perfectly between Big Cottonwood Canyon (home to Brighton & Solitude ski resorts) and Little Cottonwood Canyon (Alta & Snowbird’s snowy paradise). Whether you’re here to ski, hike, bike, or simply sit back and marvel at Utah’s famous Wasatch views with a cup of coffee (or glass of wine, we don’t judge), this home delivers all the comfort, space, and mountain magic you could want.
Location, Location, Location
Just off Wasatch Boulevard, you’re minutes from the mouth of both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. That means access to four legendary ski resorts. Brighton, Solitude, Alta, and Snowbird, all within easy reach. Plus, you’re close to great restaurants, grocery stores, and après-ski hangouts.
Downtown Salt Lake City’s culture, dining, and nightlife? Just 25 minutes away.
Park City’s historic Main Street and ski slopes? 35 minutes.
Salt Lake International Airport? 45 minutes, yes, it’s that convenient.
The Space
This isn’t just another vacation rental, it’s a spacious 3,100-square-foot mountain getaway designed for comfort, connection, and relaxation. With three levels of living space, multiple gathering areas, private balconies off each bedroom, and an open layout perfect for entertaining, it’s the kind of home where everyone can spread out and still come together after a day in the mountains.
Main Level – Gather, Cook, Relax
On the main level, you’ll find a spacious living room with plenty of seating, a 75" Smart TV, and a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops and modern appliances, ready for anything from a quick breakfast before the slopes to holiday dinners shared with family and friends after a long day of adventure.
The adjacent dining area comfortably seats six, with five more barstools at the kitchen counter for casual breakfasts or après-ski chats.
Also on the main level is a serene queen bedroom with its own shared en-suite bathroom, featuring a tub/shower combo and dual pedestal sinks. It’s the perfect setup for those who prefer to stay close to the action but still want their privacy.
Step outside from the kitchen onto the large deck, where you’ll find a gas firepit, a BBQ grill, and outdoor seating that practically begs you to linger. From sunrise to sunset, the panoramic valley views are spectacular, and on cool evenings, there’s nothing better than gathering around the firepit with a warm drink and great company as the city lights twinkle below. (Weather permitting, of course. This is Utah, not the Bahamas.)
Upper Level – Lounge, Work, Rest, Repeat
Head upstairs to a loft area where you can sit and enjoy a book or catch up on a few emails.
The primary bedroom suite on this level features a king-sized bed, private balcony, a large closet to unpack all of your clothes, and spa-like ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a walk-in shower with two shower heads. (Yes, two. Because why not?)
The third bedroom is a "flex room" which has an American Leather pull-out queen sofa bed, an office desk, and a private balcony, perfect for morning coffee with a side of mountain air.
The upstairs bathroom features a walk-in shower and pedestal sink, ensuring everyone has space to freshen up before heading out for another adventure.
Lower Level – Movie Nights & Workouts
Head downstairs to the walk-out basement, where fun and relaxation take center stage. The spacious 65" TV lounge setup is perfect for movie marathons or catching the big game. Comfy seating and a game table with board games make this a great hangout spot for all ages.
There’s also a fitness room with a sliding door that opens to the patio, so you can stretch or sweat while breathing in that crisp mountain air. (Don’t worry, the view makes exercising slightly less painful.)
The basement bedroom includes 2 twin size beds, a work desk, and across the hall, you’ll find the basement bathroom, featuring a large walk-in shower and one sink.
The laundry room is also located in the basement and comes fully equipped with a washer, dryer, laundry detergent, iron, and ironing board, because even in vacation mode, clean socks are a beautiful thing.
