The living room features an Italian leather sofa and armchair around an electric wood burner-effect fire, plus Smart TV and Netflix for cosy evenings in. French doors open onto the patio and enclosed garden - an elevated spot to enjoy morning coffee, evening drinks, and countryside views alive with birds and wildlife. A separate WC completes the ground floor.Two spacious en-suite bedrooms offer calm and comfort after a day’s exploring,the main bedroom has a King-size bed, smart radiator, en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and heated towel rail, walk-in wardrobe. The second bedroom has twin beds an en-suite with a bath, (no shower) and walk-in wardrobe.

From your doorstep, the landscapes of the North York Moors unfold - heather-topped hills, quiet lanes, and endless walking trails. The famous Cleveland Way passes nearby, offering some of Yorkshire’s most breathtaking coastal views.

In just a few minutes, you can be in Staithes, a postcard-perfect harbour village where cottages tumble down cobbled streets to the sea, featured frequently both in TV shows and Hollywood movies. Nearby Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, and Saltburn each offer their own charm - from surfing and fossil-hunting to historic abbeys and art galleries, while Runswick Bay was a recent winner of the Sunday Times “Beach of the Year” award.

For family adventures, head to Scaling Dam Reservoir (10 minutes), where you’ll find sailing, paddleboarding, an adventure golf course, and a welcoming 18th-century coaching inn overlooking the water. The local pub at Easington (1¾ miles) is dog-friendly – as are most of the local pubs - and known for its excellent food and relaxed atmosphere.

Further afield, steam through the moors on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, visit the filming locations of Harry Potter, or browse the market in Guisborough.
