Very clean. pool not heated but we lucked into warmer than usual temperatures for MarchVery quite neighborhood that is fairly easy to get to and to get to attractions in San DiegoHost was very easy to contact and got back to us right away with answers.

I stayed at this lovely home for a month in February. I can't say enough about how great it was. The house looked exactly like the pictures. Just beautiful!! It was very clean and very private. I sat out by the pool many of the days I was there and thoroughly enjoyed the landscaping and beautiful view of the the canyon in the back beyond the pool. The owner was very attentive & accessible. The home has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. It was very close to grocery stores and amazing shopping areas. I highly recommend this home for a great get away or longer vacation. I plan to return again next year.

A beautiful view welcomes you. Kitchen and living area very nice and clean. Home was easy to access. Pool and backyard very nice although could not use pool ( January) Master bedroom not clean and sheets don’t fit bed. Luckily had family near by that we could do laundry at otherwise would have had to pay 80 to use laundry on site. Chose this home because it was close proximity to my daughters home(small condo)

We really enjoyed the house and pool and the host was very quick to respond to anything we needed! Location isn’t super close to everything we did but very close to multiple highways and convenient. There’s a fun hike in the neighborhood as well that I eould definitely recommend.

PROS The pool was nice. Jessica was prompt to answer. The neighborhood was good.CONS: A lot of written notes in the property. The charge for laundry (%) was disconcerting, especially as there is a pool and people would need access at least to the dryer and not expect to have to pay for its use.The hot tub was not allowed to be turned on, that was at the very least strange. If the above is bc your utility bill will be impacted, perhaps you would consider installing solar panels.The main bedroom was large enough but having no doors on the bathroom sink area meant the sink cannot be used if the baby was asleep. Turning on the light would have waken her up. The other two bedrooms were quite small and felt cramped.

Beautiful views

We enjoyed a very relaxing four night stay. The house had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy and the swimming pool was very welcome at the end of each day, after exploring San Diego. The views are amazing and we also enjoyed the daily visits of hummingbirds in the garden. If we were ever to come back to California, we would definitely stay here again.

Nice home

Our family like the location, cleanliness and simple deco of the house. However, no one dare to jump in the non-heated pool :-) They wished the construction wasn't there and the dining chairs can be more firm. Over all, they enjoyed their 5 day stay and I would rent this property for them again.

Very pretty

Pretty and comfortable in a good location close to everything. Wish the pool was heated so we could have used it, but I must have missed that detail when I booked. Beautiful views and perfect rooms for our young kids (ages 3 and 6).

Lovely home, great location, read the fine print

The property is as described in the listing and the photos show the house accurately and beautifully. The owner is very responsive to questions. My only criticism is that there are amenities lacking that I think most people would expect in a property as nice as this one is. For example, the propane tank for the grill was empty and we were told to go to Home Depot to get a full tank, there was no soap in the shower and were told it was not provided (something we didn’t notice nor expected to have to check in the listing), there were 2 almost empty bottles of conditioner in the shower; extra charge for washer dryer seems petty. The bedroom closets were full of owner(?) stuff and not very usable to store our clothes. There are no dressers so we expected to be able to use the closets. All that being said I would rent this house again now that I’m aware of these issues. They are not deal breakers
 you just need to be aware.

Great House

We were in San Diego for my daughter’s re-enlistment and we could not ask for a better house. House was clean and spacious. The location was central to all attractions I.e. San Diego Zoo, Mission Beach, restaurants etc. Pool was great. Kids loved it!

We arrived and found the key box exactly where we were told it would be. There are five of us in the family, with the youngest being 1.5 years old. We were in town because my stepdaughter was getting married. She came over to visit before we all went to dinner with both families. During dinner, I received an email reminding me that we had only paid for a certain number of guests to stay in the house. I wasn't aware that I needed to inform the host of our plans while renting the house. When I told my wife, she felt that we were being watched around the house with cameras, making both her and the kids feel uncomfortable. Even if we were being watched, who watches kids? The pool area had chipped concrete, small rocks in the pool, ants in the front and back of the house, and about ten dead bees floating in the water. The AC didn't work well and took forever to cool the house, making it very hot during our stay. Overall, our stay was uncomfortable.

Relaxing Retreat

Beautiful house, lots of space. The pool and backyard was so lovely and relaxing. We ate most of our meals outside. Absolutely loved the view into the canyon and watching the sun go down. The only “noise” was from frogs at night. The house is about 15 minutes away from shopping, the beach and the zoo. Would definitely stay here again
only for longer!
