This is a ground floor condo of a 6-unit property.
Other units are also rentals and neighboring noise may be heard from time to time.
Like many coastal homes, this home does not have A/C. Bedrooms have wall heaters for guest use.
There is a twin over twin bunk bed in the nook area of Primary bedroom. These beds have a maximum weight limit of 150 pounds.
San Diego Airport flight path runs over South Mission Bay. Airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Neighborhood Notes:
Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.

This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, smoking, or pets. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Excellent place for families with kids (or anyone)! Located right on the bayside beach boardwalk, in a quiet area but a Quick walk to cafes, tacos/burritos etc, and 2 playgrounds. Ground floor patio looking out at the water/beach makes super easy access for families with young kids. The unit was clean, stocked with the essentials and beachtoys, and the management company was very communicative. Checkin/checkout was seamless.

Great location and condo was nicely appointed

We enjoyed our stay on Mission Bay. The location was great. The kids enjoyed the bay beach in the backyard and short walk to the ocean beach. The bunkbeds were a hit too! The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware and the bathrooms provided soap, shampoo and conditioner. The beds were comfortable and washer/dryer worked great. Also, we were accommodated with early check-in l, which was a help!Everything was great, except the parking. The listing indicates a small car is best as the parking is tight, which was true. It would have been helpful if there was direction on how best to park, i.e. head-in only and if the overhead electrical box was clearly marked with caution tape or something reflective. When we parked at night, we backed into the space and the back up camera did not detect the overhead box. It was dark and we unfortunately cracked our rear windshield. Just something for future renters to keep in mind. We are very conscientious drivers and it definitely dampened our mood quite a bit for the rest of our stay.

San Diego Family Christmas

This property was right on the Bay and less than two blocks from ocean beaches. Our multi generation family of six could walk to Belmont Park which was such a bonus. The place was very clean and just as pictured. Managers respond quickly to any needs.

Bayfront Unit

The unit was nicely furnished, clean, comfortable, and in a nice location, bay front and walkable to shops and restaurants. Our stay would have been perfect except for two things. One, the parking spot for the unit is VERY small. Once we were able to back in and avoid the narrow posts on either side, my husband hit the storage cabinets at the back of the parking space (hanging on the wall above, not in view of our backup camera) and broke out our entire back window. đŸ˜© We couldn’t pull in front first because the alley is one way, and also small, and we couldn’t turn at that sharp of angle to get between the 2 posts. So, we had to pass it and back in and that was still difficult without hitting the fence adjacent to the parking spot. If you have an SUV, this spot is no fun to get in and out of. Two, the noise from the neighbors above was really bad 2 out of 3 nights that we were there. They weren’t partying, it was just nonstop banging from footsteps walking back and forth and kids playing around. Not much you can do about that, but it was loud enough and consistent enough to be a bother. Once they checked out it was very quiet and peaceful. Overall, we had a nice stay, but wouldn’t stay here again due to the parking situation.

The condo was a great place for our family of 4. We did hear noise from neighbors above and to the side, but had seen that in other reviews so it wasn’t a surprise. We appreciated having a designated parking spot even if it was for a small car.

Beautiful clean condo on Mission Bay!

We stayed at this condo for Labor Day Weekend with friends and family who stayed in the upstairs unit (we were with an infant). It is such a clean and well-appointed condo in a great location close to so many walkable cafes and restaurants. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because the smell that other guests have reviewed about is a problem because you have to have the windows open with there being no AC. It’s either sewage or the smell of the bay but it is not pleasant. But the owners are very conscientious and do their level best to make sure you have a great stay. I think it’s high praise that even with the smell (which only is an issue maybe once a day in the afternoon) we had a great time and loved the property.

Perfect Family Vacation!

This is the perfect place to rent for a family vacation. We have two very young kids and this condo could not have been more perfect! The location was amazing! The neighborhood is so quiet and relaxing, the bay water was perfect for our young kids. The condo was quiet, clean and had everything you could ever want to use! Water toys, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, etc. The rental company was extremely accommodating, kind and very quick to respond with any questions. I do not have a single thing negative to say! We will definitely be staying here again!

Restful Getaway

Stayed here while visiting my daughter and celebrating my 70th birthday. Lots of walks by the bay and the ocean. Reading on the patio and people watching. Kitchen is well stocked. I cooked breakfast and lunch every day plus we cooked 3 dinners for 3 of us. Master bed was great and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the condo. The elevator for the upper units uses a key and the residents did not turn the key off several times so it just kept banging open and closed. Management was super responsive - could not have been any better! Thank you!
