This beachfront condo has incredible views of the beach and ocean. This is a quiet complex and is great for families with children because the beach is literally right in front of the complex.

Highlights:

There is no a/c, but it is not usually needed due to the breeze coming off the ocean. There are plenty of floor fans, and ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms in the unit.

The property is a non-smoking and no animals property. The complex is quiet, strictly enforced no loud noises, no partying, or loud music allowed property building. The maximum allowed number of people on the property is six people. You cannot bring other people to hang out on the patio or unit. No barbecuing allowed. The owners of the building live on the property. If any of these policies are violated the traveler will lose their security deposit. This is a great place for families to relax and enjoy the beach. So make sure you are okay with these house rules before booking. Please check the listing for the description of all the amenities.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Per the owner's request if we receive a complaint from the neighbors of loud noises/partying/smoking of any kind, or you have more people than allowed in your group, or bring animals onto the property, your group will be evicted and will forfeit your rent, cleaning fee, and deposit. So please make sure this is the right type of property for your group.

The condo overlooks the beach and boardwalk, with amazing ocean and beach views from the Living Room, Dining Area, and Kitchen. The balcony is off the Living Room to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. This condo is located on the second floor. (You will climb the stairs to reach the unit). The condo itself has two floors. The master bedroom and master bathroom are on the first floor, and the other two bedrooms and the second bathroom are on the second floor. PLEASE NOTE: THE THIRD BEDROOM HAS A BUNK BED AND IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN BECAUSE OF THE TIGHT SPACE.

This condo is one of two vacation rental units in this complex. The other condo is VRBO listing number #1305969 a 2-bedroom and 2-bath condo, and listing number #1837319 a 3-bedroom and 2-bath condo. Both of these units have full beach and ocean views. So if you have a larger group, you could rent one or more units for larger groups. Please check the calendars for available dates.

This beautiful condo is located in the heart of Mission Beach, just a few blocks from Belmont Park. The condo is just a few blocks away from restaurants and shopping. The condo is centrally located near San Diego County's most popular attractions including Sea World, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Downtown San Diego's Gas Lamp Quarter, Coronado, Del Mar, and much more.

Amenities: This secured building includes a private garage parking spot for a mid-size car or mid-Suv. There is a Pack n Play available, a High Chair, Wi-Fi, two Flat Screen Televisions, a coin-operated washer & dryer in the complex on the first floor, 6 Beach Chairs, 2 Boogie Board, Beach Umbrella, 6 Beach Towels, and 2 Hair Dryers. We also have discounts to rent water sports equipment such as Paddle Boards, Jet Skis, sailboats, and Jet packs.

1. No Air Conditioning (ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms, and floor fans)
2. No Pets or animals allowed
3. No barbequing allowed
4. No Smoking allowed on property, balcony, or complex
5. No Elevator (must climb stairs to reach this unit)
6. No patio area available for this unit to lounge

Please check the Rates and Availability section for open dates and specific rates. There are 4- to 7-night minimums and sometimes shorter stays are available when there are gaps between booking reservations and/or based on the time of the year. During some holidays there are 3-day minimums. During the months of June, July, and August the unit is only available on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. To book Christmas day, you must also book Christmas Eve, to book Thanksgiving Day, you must book Thanksgiving Eve, to book New Year's Eve, you must book New Year's Day and the other way around for all those holidays.

Cancellation: There are no refunds of the rent, tax, and cleaning fee for cancellations or changes to the reservation dates that are 30 days or less prior to arrival, and only the security deposit will be refunded. If the rent, tax, and cleaning fee are not paid 30 days before arrival, you will lose 100% of your security deposit and the reservation. Notice of cancellation or changes to the reservation dates must be in writing via mail or email.

Please Note: No pets and no smoking are allowed anywhere on the property or complex. This condo is located in a high-density complex and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Beachfront17.

Great location!

Condo had a well stocked kitchen. Great entry instructions, off street parking. Its right on the water and walking distance to the boardwalk. There where boogie boards, chairs and a pack n play for my grandson. My 2 sons, their spouses, grandson (2yrs) and myself had a comfortable stay while visiting San Diego from The Bay Area and TX. I would totally rebook

Good place to stay

Great trip with my wife, two girls, and their two friends. The location is perfect, with numerous restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within a very close proximity. As to the condo, we were a little taken back by the size of the place. The bedrooms, particularly the bedroom with the bunk beds, was extremely small (8’x8’ maybe 8’x10’) and the bunks took up near 2/3 of the room. The upper bed was nearly impossible for our average sized 16 year old daughter to sleep in. She ended up sleeping on the couch. Bathrooms were also very small. Simply put, the photos made the condo seem much bigger than it actually is. The property owner/manager was on site doing some maintenance and was extremely friendly and kind. He was very helpful and spoke with my wife and kiddos. I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to meet him.Long review out short, nice place but was a little crowded for our family. Although, for a group of 3-4 it would probably be great.Thank you again for a great trip!

Great rental right on the beach!

Our adult family of three enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was clean and very comfortable. We could walk easily to the beach, restaurants and Belmont Park. I wish that we had stayed longer than 5 days. Hopefully we can rent it again soon.

Wonderful place!!!

Our second year staying here did not disappoint! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with Fred and Jamil were extremely cordial and helpful. The tiny glitches that were really our fault were handled immediately. It's a wonderful condo and we would not hesitate to come again! Thank you!

Excellent View

The condo was just as presented. The views are incredible. I really appreciated that they had a pack and play and high chair for my son. The third bedroom with the bunks are really only for small children. The vertical ladder made it almost impossible for me to climb up. I would not count that as a sleeping space for adults when planning a trip. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Great location wonderful views! Highly recommend!

Checking in was a bit delayed as the previous guest must have made quite the mess to keep the cleaning crew late. Location was great, garage was convenient and the view was amazing. We were corrected by a nosy neighbor about where we could go and what we could do. in front of the building they have some tables for guests, My wife and I approached the table and were told we could not sit there as it was reserved for other units. Mind you that three out of four tables were empty at the time, so this seemed very petty, we had just gotten back from a long walk and weren't planning on camping there. Overall this was a great space and my family really enjoyed themselves. This was our fifth trip to Mission beach and plan on coming back again

Unexpected last minute (3 weeks out) getaway

This was our second time staying in this charming Unit. When our hiking vacation was cancelled on us by literally brand new owners of the cabin we rented, we were forced to cancel flights and rental car and needed a local getaway with our college age kids. We love Mission Beach and this location is the best. This time we went to a Padres game and Sea World, and rented bikes 2 days for long rides to Point Loma Lighthouse and Liberty Station. Highly recommend this unit and Fred has been great both years as our host, he is always “on it” with answers to any questions. We love the provided beach towels, chairs and umbrella and the coin laundry is so convenient, so take your quarters!

West Coast Getaway

The property was prefect for our group of 2 adults and 2 sixteen year olds. You can walk to Belmont Park. We rented a Jeep Wrangler and it just fit in the garage (be careful with the height of your vehicle). Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Loved being steps from the beach!
