This is a second floor condo of a duplex home. There is an additional neighboring duplex on this property.
The ground floor unit is also a rental; neighboring noise may be heard from time to time.
The outdoor shower is shared with the ground floor unit.
Your unit has a separate designated patio space with a BBQ and conversational seating for two. Guests will share gate access leading out to the boardwalk.
San Diego Airport flight path runs over South Mission Bay. Airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Neighborhood Notes:
Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.

This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. Very clean with newer appliances and decor. We have stayed in many condos in Mission over the years. We were very pleased with how well supplied this place was. Air conditioning works fantastic and beds comfortable. The location is great. So close many businesses and the beach. Nice view of the bay out the front window. It is very Close to Mission Blvd. So it can be noisy on the little patio but that was not an issue for us because we are on the go all the time.

How about 4.75 stars? No? Ok, since thats not possible I'll say the place deserves rounding up to 5 stars over 4. To start the place was immaculately clean, GREAT location, private parking (VERY tight squeeze, but nevermind), and VERY comfy beds. It had all the nicest, most convenient amenities including, stove, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge (w/filtered water and ice), dishwasher, everything. The a/c blew ice cold in each bedroom but not so much the living room, might just need to be serviced or something. The little patio overlooking Mission Bay is SO cute to have coffee and a pastry from the starbucks that is practically next door. Its located right next to Belmont Park and is a 5-minute walk to the beach (the actual MISSION BEACH not MISSION BAY, it was so sick to watch people get in the murky, bacteria-infested water of the bay, yuck! Dont swim in bays!!) They were so nice to provide wagons, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and even a cooler you name it.So my only problem was being provided with only ONE roll of toilet paper stuff like that drives me nuts especially when you only realize there's no more when you're already in the bathroom. Truthfully though everything was so nice it really does deserve five stars! The hosts were clear, communicative and kind. They even helped me by reminding me to fill out the forms on the day that they were due when I didnt receive then thru text. Overall would definitely stay again!

Great Mission Beach Stay

This rental was a great place for our 5 night stay at Mission Beach/Bay. 3 of us comfortably stayed. A short walk to the ocean and right on Mission Bay. There is a bit of road noise, especially on Saturday night, but weeknights were fairly quiet. Lots of dining options within walking distance. We easily fit an intermediate car in the gargage. Definitely a place we would stay again.

What a wonderful stay we had!

First off, the communication with the owner was outstanding. San Diego was our last stop on a 9 day trip over three different locations and as soon as we to this one my wife accused me of “holding out on her” because this pone was so nice. Property is clean, well appointed and the beds were nice as well. Fully stocked kitchen as well. Location is awesome. Walked to the beach every day a sat on the deck looking at the bay the rest of the time. Would be delighted to stay in any of their properties again. The garage parking was the only difficulty. Our Nissan Rogue barely fit. Anything larger probably won’t fit and you’ll have to park on the street somewhere. Thanks so much!

Nice spot to stay

Great spot to stay! Host was extremely quick to respond to anything by text. Very clean space with everything you need. Even had beach toys for the kiddos. Two call-outs for those considering: Parking spot is tight (not an issue for standard cars), but very helpful to have in the area. When we stayed (May 2025), it is next to a small construction site which starts 7-8am during the week, but never extended into the evening and no weekend work. Not an issue for us as we were already awake but a call out for those that wish to sleep in.

Relaxing stay near mission beach

The condo is very clean and has all the things you need for a memorable family beach vacation. The kitchen was well-stocked and organized. The location is great as hit's close to the beach and Belmont Park. The property manager was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. The garage space is tight, but we were able to park our standard-size rental car.

Family spring break trip. Good location, short drive to downtown and activities along the coast. Short walk to the beach. Clean apartment that has everything you would need. Garage is a bit tight to get into but is nice to have a dedicated garage space. Great host communication.

Great location right on the mission bay and walking distance to the ocean and Belmont Park. Condo had everything we needed including beach towels (which weren't included on the listing). Only thing to note is that the garage fits a car, but is not large enough for an SUV or truck. There is street parking right by the condo though if the garage doesn't work for your car. Would definitely stay here again!

Great, modern apartment

The property was immaculate. The updates to the bathroom and kitchen were well done. The kitchen amenities made our stay so much easier. The unit is very close to a main thoroughfare so traffic noise can be heard throughout the night. We didn’t mind though, others might. The garage is tiny, all family members out before backing the small car in. We loved being able to walk to the beach to see the sunset each night! We would definitely recommend this rental!

Clean and modern unit

I stayed here with a friend of mine. The unit is very clean and bright, with comfortable beds and modern appliances. The location is central but it’s not a neighbourhood with many restaurants within walking distance, for those who would find this important. Great if you want to see Belmont Park and the beach is just across the road. The unit was a bit hard to find, initially, and I would recommend stating in the listing that the garage is EXTREMELY small, it’s very difficult to park a medium sized car, and I can’t imagine a large vehicle would fit. The tight alley way makes parking even harder. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, I just think a heads up on the parking situation would be appreciated by guests with vehicles.

Nice unit, good location

Unit is small but we were family of three so perfect for us. Great location over looking the bay. Be aware the main road is right there, we didn’t mind. There is a restaurant right next door so we did hear the staff taking the trash out every night at 10. Unit was clean and well stocked including coffee filter, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, foil, plastic wrap, shampoo etc. Garage is tight, we had a mustang convertible and it just fit, an SUV would not. Do wish unit had a collapsible drying rack since they had a note not to hang anything over the shower doors.

Lovely Bayside Unit

Great location, Enjoyable Stay

The property was in a great spot. It was easy to walk around. Most things were as expected in a rental. Plenty of towels, toiletries, and cooking items. The only negative was the heat not working well. Couldn't get the rooms warm at night. The garage is tight, but we fit a midsize SUV in there.

Our stay was great. Already missing the apartment. The lay out is great and very spacious for 4 adults and 2 kids. Comfy beds. Very clean. The apartment was stocked with more than I expected. The kitchen had everything and even kids plates and bowls. Bathrooms had hair dryers and straightening irons. Extra throw blankets in the closets. Beach towels and a few kids beach toys left from past guests. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

This property is simply perfect! Great location, close to everything. Very clean, updated and a great layout. The only bad thing is noise from the traffic on the busy street but it definitely wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!!

Great house, great location

Loved this place for celebrating Christmas with the family. House is in a really fun location in the Mission Beach area with a nightly view of the fireworks show at Sea World across the harbor. Back door opens to boardwalk on the bay and two short blocks to the Pacific. Comfortable beds and nicely furnished.
