We had a great Christmas time at this property in Dorado , Puerto Rico. The place is spacious and accommodating. Easy access and convenient to local exploration and about. The host is very responsive to immediate needs and inquiries. Check in and out extremely easy. Of course there is no perfection if you happen to be an stickler person, but for the rental cost compared to perfection is a good trade in. We would love to repeat an stay if needed but we love to see some improvement such the addition of a full functional stove (if possible) better lighting in bathrooms, better water pressure in the last bathrooms and service of the refrigerator .As everything else no improvement required. Plenty of tv’s thru the house, the pool table is a hit with the kids. There is no pool at this location as per the pictures insinuate , but, who needs a pool while visiting an island? Overall, we recommend this clean and spacious property anytime while visiting Puerto Rico.

Stay was enjoyable and more affordable than hotels or other vacation rentals. Omar was very attentive and responded quickly to messages. There was a discrepancy with the booking concerning use of washer and dryer. There was no mention of additional fees for use (if staying less than 7 days). See photos because the description may have been updated on VRBO website. There should be no hidden fees after booking. Also a minor issue where the water was shutoff but ot was resolved.

My stay at The White House was fantastic! The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we were very impressed by how clean the entire property was. The unique aspect of this property was the host living on-site, which was a new experience for us but one we truly appreciated. They were always available to answer any questions, and their presence made us feel even more secure and welcome. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and well-hosted stay. The owner was excellent.

FIRST TIME

The host always responded promptly. The check in was smooth. There was a pool but it had a little too many leaves in it we didnt use it. It was very spacious, decent location if you have a rental/transpo about 15 mins from most things (food, restaurants, beaches, stores etc). There is a rooster or 3 next door that woke us up around 430 - 5 every morning.It was 8 of us all family and it was more than enough room for su to be comfortable and relax.

Well worth it!!

Upon arrival it felt very welcoming. Property owner had music playing throughout house. On table was a boat of goodies such as stickers, playing cards, sleep masks etc. Owner knew we were there for a wedding so he set up two areas in the home for photo opportunities, which I thought was very nice and showed his willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay even more comfortable. House is extremely beautiful. All rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Owner was responsive immediately to any of our questions and needs. I would highly recommend this property and will certainly rent again if I visit that area in the future.

Home away from home

Accessible and Responsive Owner

The White House in Dorado, Puerto Rico offers spacious accomodation with six bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, but all are on the upper level and require the use of a staircase. It is a short drive to the beach, but definitely not convenient for walking (you need transportaion). There is a bakery and pizza establishment within a couple of blocks, and some grocery and restaurants a short ten minute drive away. The owner lives nearby and was responsive to our questions during our stay. Dorado offers a beautiful area to visit.

Great 'Head Quarters' for Family/Group fun!

We needed a a place that could accommodate six adults and three kids without Sleeper sofas or Foutons. We also wanted to be in the 'neighborhood' in order to experience the island, away from all of the touristy pressures during the Christmas holiday. We found this perfectly acceptable facility at the Dorado White House, including a sincere and, though relatively new, a concientious host.

Outstanding Spacious Home!!!

This property is beautiful. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It is very spacious (enough room for my family of 9), the rooms very spaces, very clean, in a great location. Check in was very easy. Juan (the host) was very attentive and helpful. He responded very quickly with any questions we had during our stay. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone with a big family. I look forward to staying at this home again really soon. Thank you Juan.

We had a really wonderful stay. The host was amazing. So easy to communicate with and very thoughtful. They are working on improving the house and making it even better. I would recommend having some better directions about how to use the amenities. Overall, it was a great trip!!

I would like to say that communication with the host was kind & check in was accommodating, however the listing states a few things that were not disclosed .First night in the home was definitely rough because if you’re not conscious of all the under construction signs posted you can definitely bump into conflicts. In room #2 apparently there is a sign on the back wall of the shower that if you move a mat water will not drain properly. Once that mat is moved a horrendous odor of sewage reeks through the house, and that bedroom is no longer able to even be used. Secondly, that odor travels through the entire backyard. Which means you cannot use the pool or the sitting area back there as well. Also the large sitting area in the living room where the pool table is there is an air-conditioning unit that is also under construction & not able to be used. I purposely booked this home with the intent of a washer & dryer on the premises. There is a sign stating you are not allowed to use the washer and dryer unless you are staying precisely 7nights & it is locked which is a huge inconvenience for 9people who were staying 7 days & 6nights. There is enough room to accommodate more than 10 however, most are bunkbeds, &one bedroom is located outside on the terrace with only 1entrance most will not feel comfortable with their children on the outside of the residence.Pretty home& clean but I suggest bring your own pillows &towels and enjoy the island because it has more to offer ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dorado stay

It is an amazing house with lots of room and space. It is beautiful and the balcony is a great addition. There is so many areas to relax and enjoy. There was a problem with the internet and a little water got in from a side door. But the host was very attentive. Plenty of things to do in a short drive around Dorado. Beaches, bars, restaurants and grocery stores. It’s also only 25 minutes or so from San Juan.
