Totale EnttÀuschung

Der Kontakt mit Jacquelyn war vor der Ankunft unkompliziert und nett. Dann leider die herbe EnttĂ€uschung. Immobilie war schmutzig, roch sehr modrig, Motten in SchrĂ€nken, Schimmelpilz in der KĂŒche (ich solle doch einfach das verschimmelte Schneidebrett nicht benutzen laut Jacquelyn!!). In die Toilette im unteren Bad darf kein Toilettenpapier geworfen werden, man sollte das Papier in den MĂŒlleimer werfen, sonst verstopfe das Klo....Das Bad im 1. Stock hat keine TĂŒr zum Schlafzimmer und ist auch nur von 1 Schlafzimmer zu betreten. Toiletten vermutlich seit Wochen nicht geputzt, eklig. Das Schwimmbad ist schön gross, viele Liegen am Pool, aber nicht 1 Schirm vorhanden. Das hĂ€lt keiner aus in der Sonne. Das schlimmste war aber der Dreck, GlĂ€ser auch dreckig, stand noch eine benutzte Tasse bei Ankunft in der SpĂŒle, Wasserkocher völlig verkalkt. SchrĂ€nke teils ekelig. Das geht alles gar nicht fĂŒr den Preis !!! Absolute Frechheit. Jacquelyn bot uns an, dass nochmals geputzt wird. Wir sind aber 2 Stunden nach Ankunft wieder abgereist. Die von Jacquelyn versprochene RĂŒckzahlung wurde natĂŒrlich 1 Tag spĂ€ter widerrufen. Das Geld ist weg.

Wonderful

Fabulous Villa, amazingly clean and very well kept, pool is huge and is brilliant for swimming as well as cooling down. Lots of seating areas to choose from with lots of shade options, the gardens are beautiful. The bikes are a great addition although I have to confess that despite all good intention we didn’t get to use them, it was a bit hot for cycling!Inside the house is well equipped, and very comfortable, The kitchen has everything you need and the bbq grill outside is excellent. The bedrooms are cool and very comfortable, the AC a welcome feature over night.The house is ideally situated for travelling around Puglia, the beaches nearby are good, (some better than others) but we used the beach clubs and at the time of our trip were not busy. Matera, Ostuni and Lecce are an easy drive.The host Erik, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, brilliant communications from booking to our departure/arriving home. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine and a card was a lovely thoughtful gesture.In short, loved every minute of our stay and we would hope to come back.

Lovely villa in a great location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Eric’s villa. The pool area is wonderful, the kitchen well-equipped and the villa is perfectly situated to visit places of interest in Puglia. Electricity a little temperamental but not a problem. Would have appreciated a top sheet on the beds. All in all, a great stay

Villa parfaite pour un séjour dans les Pouilles

La villa est parfaite pour un séjour dans les Pouilles. Spacieuse, joliment décorée, trÚs bien équipée. Rien ne manque dans la villa pour passer des vacances idéales en famille. La villa semble loin de tout alors qu'elle est à deux pas de la ville. Il y a de belles plages à proximité et les plus beaux sites incroyables des Pouilles. De bons restaurants (mention spéciale pour la Locanda di Nonna Mena). L'hÎte est trÚs réactif et veille à ce que le séjour se passe bien. Enfin, que des dires des extérieurs ? Juste que la piscine est sublime dans un cadre enchanteur.

Een heerlijke plek om te verblijven

Met zijn indrukwekkende oprijlaan, flinke binnen- en buitenruimte en grote zwembad is Villa Puglia Sogno een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Het huis was schoon en de bedden waren keurig opgemaakt. De 3 slaapkamers boven hebben airco. De keuken is compleet uitgerust en heeft een grote koelkast. Buiten en binnen is de Wifi hartstikke goed. De omgeving is rustig. Wel zijn er andere huizen in de buurt, maar op voldoende afstand. Buiten kun je heerlijk BBQ-en, basketballen, tafeltennissen en vooral genieten van het grote zwembad met heerlijke ligbedden. Tip is om de locatie te bereiken via ‘Via Mare’, dan vlak voor of na de rotonde het weggetje in met het bordje ‘Villa Puglia Sogno’. Verder is de eigenaar, Eric, goed bereikbaar.

Lovely house in calm area

Very nice house with a great pool. Three bed room with aircon, full kitchen, big garden. The area is quiet with about 3 km to the nearest town. A car is recommended. San Vito dei Normanni is a very local town with few turists, if you like this. We can only recommend to stay in Villa Puglia Sogno.

Beautiful villa in a lovely part of Italy

We all loved the villa and were very sad to leave. We were very lucky with the weather 33 in the day and 23 at night so the pool got the most use, we spent many a happy hour cooling off in the pool and playing ball. We had a short ride on the electric bikes, just up the lane near the house and we definitely would have used them more if it had been cooler. The villa is more spacious than it looks on the photos and there was plenty of space for 5 adults. The outdoor area is huge with lots of different seating areas. My favourite part of the villa was it's character and that it had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The villa is in an ideal position to discover Puglia. We visited Lecce (my favourtie) Ostuni, Alberobello (my husbands favourite), Brindisi and Polignino. The towns have such varied characters that we each had our own favourites. A special thank you to Eric who messaged us to tell us the England v Netherlands Euro 24 semi final was being shown in San Vito main square. It was a very enjoyable night and it was kind of Eric to think of us. I would love to return one day.

Awesome villa in magnificent setting.

We have just returned from the villa and we enjoyed every minute of our holiday. The villa exceeded all of our expectations and it seemed as though no detail had been overlooked. We spent a lot of time in the pool which is one of the largest we've ever had. The use of the e-bikes is such a great touch as there are many quiet country roads and trails around. Erik is the ultimate host who we can't praise enough, from his kind offer of early check in/late check out to considerate communications. I would recommend this villa to anyone!

Nice house - great garden/pool area!

Overall it's a really nice home! It has a lot of charm and it's very clean. The pool area and the cactus garden are VERY nice !! The owner and manager are very quick to respond to requests. There's many amenities that we appreciated: ping pong table, bikes et basketball ring. The only thing that refrains us from giving it a 5* all around is the kitchen ( a bit dated) and the cooking heat sources. Neither the gaz stove top, the mini oven nor the outside grill were easy/efficient to use. But would definitely recommend if you don't feel like cooking much :-) The other ting to consider, for people with reduce mobility, there are many stairs in the house.

Relaxing in the Puglian countryside

We had a great time staying in San Vito. Perfect place to relax by the pool or go exploring the amazing countryside. We took trips to Matera, Ostuni, Lecce and visited Monopoli on our way to our next stop. Lovely pool area with several sitting areas. Soacious interior with a well equipped kitchen. Erik was great to communicate with before and during our stay and left some welcoming treats for us. Wish we could have stayed longer as feel we only scratched the surface of Puglia!

A perfect Italian escape

From the moment we arrived, till the moment we left, this was the perfect getaway. Our flight wasn’t due into Brindisi until late and Eric helped us hire a car in advance which was waiting for us at arrivals. Only a short drive from the airport and we arrived at the villa where we were greeted with a welcome card and bottle of wine which was much appreciated. We’d already had a welcome pack emailed to us so we knew exactly how to get into the property and how to find everything. The bedrooms are cool with the air conditioning and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. There is a shower upstairs and a bath downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped. The entire place was spotlessly clean. The pool and surrounding area with loungers is perfect with plenty of seating areas and parasols if you needed to get shade from the sun. Eric was quick to respond to any WhatsApp messages we sent and was very helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. Our favourite restaurant in the area was a 10 minute bike ride away called Ristolio - one to try for definite. Amazing food in the most beautiful outdoor setting under the olive trees. I can’t fault this place at all. If you’re looking for a family sized villa in a great location to explore the area then look no further. Just make sure you have a car!! Lovely villa, great size pool

Lovely property in quiet road of other villas but completely private. Great pool that is a really good size so you can have a decent swim. Possible to walk to town if you wish but a car is definitely required generally. Great base to explore the area. Hosts very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Holiday

Excellent Villa, it is in a great location with the wonderful town of San Vito only 30 minutes walk. The Villa is very well equipped with all you need for your stay. We spent 8 weeks here and loved it. The e-bikes were fantastic fun and enabled us to discover the local area. The outside of the Villa has so many areas to enjoy the sun and the pool. Beautiful place for a holiday.

Beautiful villa with fantastic pool

We have rented several villas in Italy. This one was beautifully decorated and had the most comfy beds of any villa we have stayed in. The pool was wonderful, and we really appreciated the outdoor furniture and sturdy sun loungers which all had new cushions. The villa was a real home from home and had everything you could possibly need. It was very private but only a short drive from supermarkets. The villa is ideally situated as a base for exploring beautiful Puglia. Every village and town in the area has a pretty historic centre so don't just visit places mentioned in the guide books! I highly recommend the villa and hope to return!

dream house in Italy

i would like to thank my host and make my recommendation about San Vito dei Normann. we have spoken to Eric prior to our arrival and he was super nice, gave us direction and help us to get to the villa. the house is very clean and well maintained with a terrific view and a great swimming pool that we enjoyed a lot. there is also a very relaxed vibe to the house which was very nice and cosy for us. Eric also gave us great recommendations about the surrendind of the house. thank U Eric!. i recomend to anyone to go and stay in this magical house. thanks a lot! Vered and Zvika

Villa Puglia Sogno

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad! Het inchecken via een sleutelkluis 👌 en een heerlijk schoon huis. Het terras met heerlijke stoelen en perfecte kussens en natuurlijk het XL zwembad! Ook binnen is het huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt een aanrader in centraal Puglia op 20 min van het vliegveld.
