Filthy + Disappointing
Four of us were meant to stay here for the weekend for a special event.
When we arrived the beds were not made (as in someone had slept in them) and were not washed (you could see body imprints on the pillows and bedding.
The bathroom and kitchen were filthy and there was trash in all of the trashcans.
I promptly told the property management that we would not be staying at the property as all of the guest had had a long day of traveling before check-in. We instead booked a hotel at great expense so that we could end our long day.
The management offered to clean the unit after our check-in time (in the dark, assuring a rushed job) and we opted to move on to the hotel.
To top it all off, after a mistake on the managements end -- not cleaning and preparing the unit for our arrival, the management has the audacity to bill us for a night of the stay, though we did not stay at the property either night.
When there is an agreed upon service and the agreement is not met, payment is not made. It is very simple.
