This elegant and comfortable 70m², 2-bedroom apartment in Madeira is a true retreat, offering a breathtaking 360-degree ocean view that immerses you in the beauty of the Atlantic. Situated on the edge of the Cliff Residence condominium, it is a perfect escape for families and friends looking for both serenity and a sense of wonder. Please note that while the property is located on the ground floor, access requires descending a flight of stairs, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users.

The living room features a cosy sofa, a 55-inch smart TV for all your favourite shows, a dining table for four, and a dedicated workspace with a desk and 27-inch monitor—ideal for those who need to work (200 Mbps wifi speed) or study during their stay.

On the balcony, you can unwind in the seating area while enjoying the view of the famous Savage Islands (Ilhas Selvagens) on the horizon, and you might even spot whales or dolphins on a lucky day.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare delicious meals, such as a stove, oven, and microwave, along with quality cookware and cutlery. A Nespresso machine is available, too. For added convenience, there's a dishwasher to make cleanup effortless, as well as a washer and ironing equipment to take care of your laundry needs.

The apartment offers two well-appointed bedrooms with built-in wardrobes: one with a king-sized bed (180cm) and the other with a queen-sized bed (160cm), both dressed in complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort. Both bedrooms offer panoramic ocean views from the beds. If you're travelling with a baby, a crib and a highchair are available for your convenience.

The bathroom, from where you can keep on looking out for potential whales as you shower, is stocked with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries to ensure a pleasant stay.

Additionally, the property includes private covered parking for one car, making it ideal for guests travelling with a vehicle.

Please note that planes can be seen and heard from the property during the daytime due to its proximity to the airport and depending on the weather. This does not disturb the vast majority of guests, who on the contrary tend to enjoy seeing a few planes during their final approach towards the famous Funchal runway. The overall air traffic is low in Madeira. However, if you are planning to spend most of your day time inside the property and are highly sensitive to noise, we recommend searching for an alternative accommodation.

There is a supermarket, drugstore, bakery, and restaurant within walking distance of the property, and public transport is relatively close by. However, we believe this apartment is best appreciated with a car. If you do not plan to rent a car and would rather be in a place where everything can be done walking, please consider booking a property directly in Funchal instead.

Cliff Residence, located in Gaula, offers easy access to various attractions in Madeira. Just a 15-minute drive away, you can explore Ponta de São Lourenço, a stunning natural area perfect for hiking with spectacular views.

The capital, Funchal, is also a 15-minute drive away in the opposite direction and has a variety of attractions, including the famous Mercado dos Lavradores and the Botanical Garden. For trail enthusiasts, Levada do Rei, 30 minutes away, offers a unique nature experience.

Santa Cruz Beach, located just 7 minutes away, is ideal for moments of relaxation, while Cabo Girão (30 minutes away) impresses with its suspended viewpoint and breathtaking vistas.

The location of Cliff Residence provides easy access to these and many other island wonders, ensuring a complete experience for those visiting Madeira. It also is located only 8 minutes away from the airport, ensuring easy logistics when arriving or departing.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Madeira Airport is a 6-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
