Beautiful hotel but still working out its "bugs." In-room phone inoperable so had to repeatedly go to the front desk for room service, parking valet, etc. Engineer unable to get the phone working. Confused waiters in the restaurant leaving us almost 30-minutes before twice asking for assistance. Plumbing in the shower roared like a freight train because of vibrations in the pipes. In-shower seat was separating from the wall. Details matter. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful. One thing I really resent are the "resort fees." These are $50 daily charges for...what? The pool and gym which most hotels provide without an extra charge? And the fees are taxed, too. Why not just build these fees into the room rate and not offend guests with this unpleasant and unfair add-on? It's not a matter of affording themāwe certainly canābut it's a bad practice. That said we might consider another stay in the future. The location is wonderful! But, the performance could use some adjustments.
