Gut: Sauberkeit
We loved our stay at the Sand Castle! We stayed there with 6 adults and 4 kids. Pool was fantastic! There are 2 upstairs bedrooms with a king bed and their own bathroom. There is also a half bath upstairs. Downstairs there is one bedroom with a kind bed, a full over Queen bunkbed, and one bathroom. The house looked just like the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked. We did have a little trouble with the oven. It is an F Bertazzoni Induction oven and it has a lot of settings- the first several nights our food was burning on the top and still undercooked on the bottom. We had the best luck with the “convection bake” setting. Just something to note if you plan to cook a lot! The house was about a 5 minute walk to the 11B beach entrance. What we did not realize is that in order to get onto the beach you have to walk through the knee deep water of the Eastern Lake to get on the sand. The first day we actually walked down to another entrance until we saw people carrying their wagons and such above the water. I’ll post a picture. It’s a little strange, but the neat thing is the lake is an overflow from the ocean so the water is perfectly still and also shallow enough for young kids to wade and play in without worrying about waves! It ended up being a hit with our kids. The location was great and the neighbor was super kind to us and our kids as well! Host responded to all my questions and even mailed me a forgotten item! We would stay here again!
