Willkommen in Cole Bin, einem alten HĂ€uschen im Florida-Stil mit entspannter StrandatmosphĂ€re im Herzen von Grayton Beach. Grayton Beach war die erste Gemeinde in der Grafschaft South Walton und heißt auch weiterhin Reisende willkommen, die die einzigartige StrandatmosphĂ€re genießen möchten. Cole Bin liegt im Herzen dieser Strandgemeinde, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand, der Red Bar, dem Western Lake und dem Grayton Beach State Park entfernt. Cole Bin ist ein haustierfreundliches Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei BĂ€dern fĂŒr 12 Personen. Das Haus hat ein tolles, offenes Konzept mit einem sonnigen Raum in Florida, einem Billardtisch und einem privaten RĂŒckzugsort im hinteren Teil des Hauses.

Cole Bin ist ein einstöckiges Haus mit eigenem Eingang, Parkplatz an der Straße, einem umzĂ€unten Hof fĂŒr Haustiere und einer großen Terrasse zum Entspannen im Freien. Wenn Sie eintreten, gibt es ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Billardtisch, TV, Schlafsofa und viel Sitzgelegenheiten. Auf der rechten Seite des Wohnzimmers befindet sich das erste Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem Einzelbett mit Zugang zum Badezimmer auf dem Flur. Durch das Wohnzimmer gibt es ein großes Esszimmer und eine WaschkĂŒche, die sich zur KĂŒche und zum Florida-Raum hin öffnet. Ein weiteres Schlafzimmer auf der linken Seite des Esszimmers verfĂŒgt ĂŒber zwei Queensize-Betten und ein Einzelbett. Dieses Schlafzimmer teilt sich das Badezimmer auf dem Flur. Durch das Florida-Zimmer gibt es ein großes Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett und eigenem Bad.

The location was great and wonderful to allow dogs. The new kitchen and two refrigerators was a plus. The property is old and needs repair and new furniture. We called maintenance on three doors that wouldn’t shut and broken chairs. They came out quickly to address the problems.

The location of this house is great. It’s not a new or immaculately maintained property but it was clean, had appropriate amenities and had a fenced in yard for our dogs. I recommend this property for families, dog owners and those that want access to 30A with a little more seclusion and access to nature.

Terrible Rental

The property was old and outdated and did not match the pictures. There were holes in the living room floor. The bathroom floor was soft and ready to collapse. The windows would not shut and lock. The sliding glass door would not shut all the way and the outside door handle was broken off. The porch light did not work. The grass was overgrown. The front gate boards were falling off. There was mold inside the air vents. There was a wall that was bold with a hole in it from a leak somewhere. There was rat feces everywhere on the floor and in the cabinets with the dishes. The back porch steps were ready to fall. The outdoor shower did not work and was full of mold. The back deck had old wood and moldy. The back deck chairs had holes in them, and we’re not. The wood furniture was old and not treated and had splinters. Three out of the five TVs did not work in the house.

Cole Bin Review

Loved this cottage! I’ve been coming to Grayton Beach every year since 1970 and this is the first time we’ve stayed here. Good location and we loved the big kitchen with an extra refrigerator! Perfect for beers etc. Nice big bathrooms too! And we really enjoyed the pool table. The tv’s were a little hard to figure out how to work- maybe some instructions would be nice. Kitchen could use more mixing bowls and definitely more silverware. Only issue we had was people parking in our allotted spaces in front of the cottage. I called the property manager and then a wrecker but the wrecker took too long both times. Suggest having cones available for renters to block off the parking spots. We will definitely be renting the Cole Bin again!!

Floors are very uneven Front entrance is a fall hazard with cement blocks and large gaps plus the two shallow front steps leading into the house are rotten and falling apart Dumpster parking Master Bedroom AC not working Master bedroom ceiling fan not working Master bedroom bathroom floor has water coming through plus master bath shower almost didn’t drain, had to be sewer snaked Back deck is rotted and falling apart, both sets of steps leading down are rotten Backyard not cut or bushes trimmed Buggies and chairs to use at beach are broken and rusty Three doors in the house took a hard shoulder shove to close they were so crooked and swelled Permanent damp/musty smell in the house, semi-moldy smell stagnant Family room air cond vents are closed ten feet in the air, no way to open them even IF the air cond unit was working One of the two refrigerators has broken shelves in it while the other had shelves that were the wrong size and door wouldn’t close all the way Over half the windows did not have blinds only cheap Venetian blinds so sunrise was very bright BBQ grill is rusting apart, pieces falling off, couldn’t use it at all Every piece of furniture had something broken or breaking on it and all the slipcovers were stained and many years past their prime Master bedroom sheets had red stains on them that were permanent looked like kool aid stains

Always have a special place in my heart for Grayton Beach, and the location of this property was spot on. Easy walk to the beach and Hotz Ave! The fenced yard was a plus for the pups that wanted to chill in the sun!

Excellent stay. Went to Coke Bin with my wife, 8 month old son, and in-laws. House is older but we’ll kept up overall. Location in Grayton is phenomenal. Only opportunity is that the bathrooms need a little updating. Back tub would not drain.

Perfect for what we needed

Overall stay was great. Check in and check out was easy. The past reviews are pretty accurate. The place is a bit run down but perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to the beach and the local shops and bar. Would def recommend - great little home for chill beach vacation. Floors are wonky, unlevel and did dip in a few places but for the price we got, I wasn’t bothered by it. The outdoor shower was great, except you did have to go through the house to use it. Kitchen had everything we needed, enough towels for everyone and the washer / dryer is def a nice perk. We had 5 adults and 5 toddlers (3 and under) and it went really smooth!

Pictures are not accurate

Property is in need of major work. Lots of soft spots in the floor that makes you feel as though you may step through the floor. Husband had to fix dryer vent several times while there as well as other lighting/fan issues. Couches and seating were pretty gross with stains all over them. The location is amazing but you should know the pictures are deceiving. Property needs some much needed tlc.

Great location, but declining overall

Cole Bin is in a great location in Grayton Beach and is the perfect size for our group. We have enjoyed staying at this property for many years. Unfortunately the property seems to be declining each time, while the rental price keeps increasing. There were 2 spots where the floors were sunken in, leading to tripping hazards. There were less kitchen utensils and supplies (such as mixing bowls and frying pans) than in years past. The back yard was cut in half by a newly built fence, making it impossible to walk around the house to rinse off with the shower in the back. Now you have to track sand through the house if you want to rinse off in the shower out back. The grass in the back yard was very overgrown, and the furniture on the back porch was unusable due to dry rot.

Great Location

The property is in a really excellent location. The exterior could use a bit of work. The back deck is in pretty bad shape and the back yard was pretty overgrown during our stay. If it were a huge deal I'm sure the property manager would've taken care of it for us. The house overall is really spacious and the pool table is a great feature. Furniture is all really comfortable and the air conditioning works great. There was a soft spot in the bathroom floor in the master bedroom/bathroom while we were there, but the property manager was very accommodating with options to fix the issue. Communication was easy and check in was painless.

5 stars for location to the beach, Red Bar, retail, and walking/bike riding trails. There’s no need to get in your car once you arrive. The house was perfect for 2 families and kids. The yard was perfect for our furry baby.

Wonderful gem

What an amazing location! less than 100yd walk to The Red Bar, Choringos, and a few local shops. one more block a we were on the beach! The house had more beds than we realized, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of amazing lighting. There were also a few beach chairs in the back yard we ended up using on a few of our beach outings. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days.. and we only used the car once (to hit up a local fish market 6 miles away). We were able to travel everywhere on bicycle once we arrived otherwise. Seaside was less than 3 miles away, which was a relaxing ride along some nicely paved bike paths. and the north end of Grayton has several shopping centers, coffee shops, and restaurants as well. Did I mention the kitchen was great? two full sized refridgerators available. We fully stocked one of them with food and used the other for beverages. The only (and I mean only) issue I had with the kitchen was that the knives were dull. When (not if) I go back to this particular property, I may bring a proper knife to help with food prep. Otherwise, the dishwasher, washing machines, and all of the other appliances were in great working order. We used the drier a ton because in addition to beaching, there was lots of monsoon like weather during our stay. The pool table, which at first was not even something I payed attention to, became an awesome place to spend time with the kids and family when the rain was pouring down. It definitely helped pass the time. If you like to sit around, relax, and read, this house had loads of couches, chairs, and hidden corners to sit and enjoy as well. I cannot wait to come back to Cole Bin with my family again!!

The house was for the most part clean. I mopped and sanitized when we arrived to be safe. It’s an older house but cozy. A block and a half from the beach. TV offered great movie channels which we needed as it rained for our stay. I’d suggest deep cleaning stove top. Would stay again.

Excellent location; property disappointing

The location of this rental made the rest of the house tolerable. The yard was unkept, furniture was stained, TVs did not work, oven was broken, minimal kitchen supplies and were dirty, fan/light in master bedroom was broken as well as blinds. The property management people were nice and responsive, but I don’t go on vacation to repair houses. Will not rent again.

Back again !

Back again at this house and had a great time as last. That pool table is a hit among our crowd and provides extra entertainment while resting from the heat of the day. Clean and organized. It had everything we needed.

nice location, updates needed

there were some updates needed, like the air flow in the master bedroom. the porch was falling apart, and lastly there seemed to be an electrical issue in the living room. Not for sure, but i don't think the grill worked either
