Nur 1 Gehminute vom Maison de la BoĂ©tie und der Kathedrale Saint-Sacerdos entfernt erwartet Sie diese 66 mÂČ große Suite mit einer bepflanzten und möblierten Terrasse von 29 mÂČ in SĂŒd / SĂŒdost-Richtung. Freuen Sie sich auf eine schicke und raffinierte AtmosphĂ€re. Eines der wenigen Apartments mit einer gerĂ€umigen Terrasse im Herzen des mittelalterlichen Stadtzentrums von Sarlat, das fĂŒr seine hohe Dichte an denkmalgeschĂŒtzten BaudenkmĂ€lern bekannt ist. BESCHREIBUNG DER SUITE
Diese schöne 66 m2 große Wohnung wurde 2019 komplett renoviert und befindet sich im 1. Stock eines SteingebĂ€udes aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Diese Suite ist von der eigenen Terrasse zugĂ€nglich. Die voll ausgestattete KĂŒche mit hochwertigen GerĂ€ten öffnet sich auf der einen Seite zum klimatisierten Wohnzimmer mit geformten Decken und antikem Kamin und auf der anderen Seite zu einem kleinen 6 m2 großen Lese- / Ruhebereich in einem Baldachin. Letzteres bietet einen Blick auf eine zweite Terrasse, die von diesem Apartment aus nicht zugĂ€nglich ist, sowie auf schöne SteingebĂ€ude. Das gerĂ€umige Schlafzimmer bietet einen Blick auf ein charmantes Badezimmer mit ebenerdiger Steindusche und oberirdischer Badewanne (die Toiletten sind unabhĂ€ngig und durch eine Trennwand isoliert). Ein in traditioneller Weise sanierter und verlegter Eichenparkettboden bedeckt die gesamte FlĂ€che der Wohnung. Die EigentĂŒmer haben beschlossen, ein Apartment mit gepflegter Dekoration, voller Charme, gerĂ€umig und funktional fĂŒr nur 2 Personen zu entwerfen. (ideal fĂŒr ein Paar, das Komfort und Ruhe sucht)

The perfect base to explore the Dordogne Valley.

An exquisitely finished apartment located in the heart of beautiful Sarlat. Numerous bars and restaurants within metres of the front door. From here, we were able to easily visit many of the famous Dordogne villages and chateaux. Florence and Laurent, the apartment owners, were welcoming and supportive throughout our stay. Could not speak more highly of this place.

This was a beautiful luxury apartment in the old town of Sarlat-la-Canéda. We could not have made a better choice! Communication with the representative was excellent and professional. The apartment was large with a living room, bedroom, kitchen and a wonderfully appointed bathroom. Also, there was a sitting room and two terraces for us to enjoy. Sarlat is a favourite of ours and we have been here often but I have to say staying at the Elizabeth suite was an added joy to our visit. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We will not hesitate to return!

Stylish, comfortable, and very well located. We had a car for touring the area, so I worried about parking. There was a free lot not far, but I opted to pay for parking in the city lot just next to the apartment. It was reasonable enough (around 20 per day, much less when we were out exploring) that we used it every day.The location was extraordinary: close to the middle of town, close to the weekly markets, historical attractions, restaurants, etc. The terrace was surprisingly private in the evenings. The street was always quiet. The shower was a delight: big, rain head, hand held, plenty of pressure.We highly recommend this apartment!

Perfect spot in Sarlat

This was our second time staying here, and if we make another return trip to Sarlat we will hopefully be able to stay here again. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well-equipped and in a perfect location to see the town as well as easily access your car to make day trips to the surrounding area. The hosts are accommodating and responsive. Highly recommended.

Incredible Stay !!

We absolutely loved our stay in Elizabeth’s Suite! The apartment was so beautifully decorated and everything you needed was supplied. We really felt like it was a home away from home. The location was outstanding. The markets were literally outside your front door. We stayed for a week but wish we could’ve stayed longer. Communication with our host was easy and we were accommodated with an early check in. I highly recommend this because accommodation.

Lovely apartment close to everything

This apartment was immaculate and comfortable. Everything was close by, including the free parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this apartment in Sarlat. One thing to note, the apartment does not have a dryer to go with the washing machine, but it did have a drying rack to use. It worked for us because we had some sunny days.

Lovely Flat, Both Historic and Modern

We spent four days in Elisabeth's Suite in Sarlat in the PĂ©rigord in southwestern France. The hosts could not have been more helpful, both before our arrival and during our time there. The appartment, in a building adjacent to the medieval wall of the city, was lovingly restored, keeping traditional aspects but including modern additions: washer, dishwater, induction cooktop, and espressor machine. It was near restaurants, the tourist office, the cathedral, and the extensive Saturday Market.

A Bit Frustrating

The apartment is great. Stylish, well equipped, good location. Be aware communication is all in French, though the VRBO listing states English is spoken, unless you are fluent in French you will need to be proficient with Google Translate. Check in process was stressful - checkin meeting information arrived in French via WhatsApp late the night before - & only after contacting VRBO with concern that we could not reach the owner. Apparently all involved work full time & arranging a meeting time was problematic. Would recommend you ask for the lockbox combination well ahead of time to avoid a similar situation. Could totally have been a one time situation, but not knowing if we actually had a place for the week or not, up until 10.40pm the night before was rather stressful
once in the apartment it’s exactly as listed & very comfortable.

Excellent Stay in Sarlat

Elisabeth’s Suite is a must if you are planning a visit to Sarlat. The space is extremely convenient to the old town area and parking was mostly easy - note that when you are driving up to the free parking lot, the street is extremely narrow and as you drive up it there is a painted arrow that makes it seem like you are driving up a one way, YOU ARE GOING the correct way. The apartment itself is fantastic with two separate outdoor patio areas and a good sized kitchen and living area for France. The bedroom and bathroom make the space, a king size bed and an amazing shower and tub live up to American style. I give 4 stars for check in only because in this day and age, most renters are used to checking in on their own and not having to meet someone. Meeting Lucie was not an issue at all and some may prefer the hands on touch, but for us personally, it changed some of our plans getting there so we could be arriving inside the checkin allotment.

Perfect location in Sarlat

Beautiful one-bedroom apartment easy walking distance into the old city. Difficult to find with our GPS. Finally switched to Via Michelin and found the parking lot we were instructed to find. Cynthia came out to the parking lot and helped us bring the luggage up to the apartment. There are steps from the parking lot to the street and a long steep flight of steps from the street up to the entrance to the apartment. The apartment itself is all on one level except for a small step between the bathroom and the bedroom, but since the floors in both rooms are the same, it was easy to forget it was there and trip. Cynthia warned us about it when she showed us the apartment and we still tripped several times. The bathroom has no door, just some attractive framing on each side of the large opening. The toilet, however, is tucked into a private corner. There is a lovely soaking tub with a sprayer and a glass stall shower and double sink vanity. Our only issue was that we normally leave a light on in the bathroom at night and close the door, but with no door this was not an option and too much light spilled into the bedroom to comfortably sleep. We wish there could have been an independent light just in the toilet area. There are lights on each nightstand and reading lights on each side of the bed, but they are bright enough to disturb someone who wakes up when the light comes on. Our only other issue was the parking- the lot a block from the house stopped being free on March 1st. Cynthia showed us the next closest free parking lot, which was a healthy hike up a steep hill. We had a few small issues, but the owners responded quickly and were dedicated to correcting the problems. We were in Sarlat for the Festival of the Goose and the location of the apartment was perfect. We had a wonderful time at the festival and really enjoyed our time in Sarlat. Newly Renovated in Old Sarlat

We would give this lovely apartment six stars if we could. Everything is fresh, new and selected for comfort, convenience and to be aesthetically pleasing. It is located on the edge of the old town, but near parking, which doesn't exist inside the old town limits. The apartment is on a corner and entered though a metal doorway with steps leading up to a charming patio and private entrance. Inside the decor is modern, including a full kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, glass-topped range, wall oven and 2 kinds of coffee makers! We loved the comfortable king bed, not easy to find in France at this price point. There is a soaking tub and a large shower. The bathroom is open to the bedroom, including the toilet, which is in it's own niche but without a door. We've been a couple for more than 20 years but still found this inconvenient. Other features more than made up for it. Double doors close off the living room from the bedroom. There are televisions in both rooms. There is also an air conditioner, although we didn't need it in mid-September. The owners have decorated tastefully in shades of gray, black and mushroom while maintaining the original fireplace and plaster mouldings. Perhaps the best feature of Elisabeth's Suite was the helpfulness of the owners. They greeted us with a welcome basket of local goodies and and gave great advice about dining and attractions. They also prepared a book with lots of useful information about Sarlat and beyond. We loved waking up on Saturday to find part of the Sarlat market set up under our windows! (We wear earplugs at night and hadn't heard the merchants setting up.) IMPORTANT to know: there is a substantial cleaning fee payable upon arrival. We paid cash, assuming the owners had no way to process a credit card. The owners noted this fee in an email as a reminder while we were enroute to this rental. I looked through all my VRBO information and saw nothing about this fee, although the owners said this fee was stipulated in their agreement. I don't think these kind folks are pulling a bait and switch. I think VRBO has screwed up, because I have read this complaint from other VRBO renters of other properties.

A reserver sans hésitation, emplacement parfait, appartement tres confortable, plein de charme et décoré avec soin. Rien ne manque, excellente communication avec les hÎtes. Merci pour ce merveilleux sejour.
