Soak in the spectacular views from the large jetted hot tub or relax in the sauna. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom cabin is located less than 15 minutes to Helen, GA.

When you enter through the front door, you are greeted with vaulted ceilings providing an open concept that is often sought out. The bedrooms are configured across three levels. The main level features two bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed & 1 with bunk beds, 1 full bath, half bath, kitchen and great room. You will be delighted by the kitchen with bar seating, updated granite counter tops & open design to the great room. Perfect for entertaining! It is equipped with everything needed for your stay. There is also a dining table with amble seating. The great room has breathtaking wood finishes, natural light & a stunning floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Upstairs has the master bedroom with a king bed, ensuite bathroom and private balcony. The terrace level has one-bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom & an additional living area with pool table & sauna. Off the back are tiered decks to enjoy the mountain fresh air while relaxing with a cup of freshly roasted coffee.

Mold! Horrible communication with property manager.

The VRBO says there is complimentary coffee provided, but there was none. The dishwasher was full of the previous guests dishes; I should not have to unload the dishwasher after paying for a clean, advertised as “exceptional” property. The worst part about the stay starts with the mold/mildew all over the bathrooms. I sent pictures and our concern to the property manager, and only received one reply, saying that they will send cleaners to replace the moldy shower curtains. Well, the cleaners never came, and the property manager would not respond to any other messages after this, which made an already unpleasant situation very stressful. My wife and I had our dogs at the property, so I needed to make arrangements if indeed cleaners were coming. Unfortunately, the property manager would not respond, and after reaching out to VRBO, they could not reach the property manager either; this put great stress on an already undesirable situation. We came to this cabin because of how it was advertised, and we were greatly let down—there was no communication with the property manager, and the mold is unacceptable. My wife is allergic to mold/mildew. We had to use extra caution and remove the shower curtains so that my wife would not grow ill. I look forward to the response of my message, and will gladly accept a refund for our troubles. I have pictures to share, and will gladly send them in, just shoot me an email with further information and instructions on how to do so.

This location was quiet and secluded, but also close to Helen GA. Made great use of the firepit, grill and some of the games inside. Property manager was very proactive with check in and info about the house and area. Will stay here again

Beautiful and Spacious House

Great house in a lovely setting. Close to many hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls.We all enjoyed the fantastic game room. There were a few maintenance issues that need to be taken care of. If the maintenance issues were taken care of then this would be a 5 star property but unfortunately I could only give it a 4.

Had a blast

We loved our cabin. It was exactly as it looked in the pictures. The view was amazing, and we loved the downstairs game room. There was also so much to do that we didn't even have time to do it all. If I had one criticism, it was that the gravel roads leading to the cabin needed a little work, but once we got there, it was worth the bumpy drive.

Beautiful secluded cabin

Great cabin that was isolated with a view. Only one set of neighbors that were far enough away not to notice. About 20 minutes from downtown Helen with a bunch of hikes available. Our family (with young kids) really enjoyed the game room. Some minor maintenance could really make this the perfect place we would love to return to. Highly recommend this cabin for groups of 6-8.

Perfect in every way

Our stay was great! Cabin is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked, game room was a lot of fun and you can sit and look at the Mountain View’s all day. Location is private and quiet. It rained the 2 days that we were there but it didn’t matter, we had everything we needed and did not miss going anywhere. Hated to leave and definitely will be back.

Great Mountain Vacation!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hummingbird, which had the best views I've ever experienced while staying in Helen, GA. My kids also had a blast in the game room, which has an arcade and a pool table. We even saw a black bear our first morning at the cabin which was drinking out of the fountain in the back yard, along with several deer along the driveway coming to the cabin. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay here again!

Cabin is well laid out and great for groups. We enjoyed our stay and felt we had plenty of room. Gorgeous views. Drive up wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated. Take your time and you will be fine. A few more towels could have been provided. Some rooms only had one per person and I feel there should at be two (shower and hot tub).

We came in for the annual ALPINEVOLKSFAIR even in Helen and as always we rent a cabin, this one has about a mile or 2 of dirt/gavel road, it was low car friendly but very steep. Cabin was awesome with great views.

Beautiful View!!

This home is beautiful and the view is spectacular. It was clean and has good bedroom configurations. It needs to be noted that the drive up the dirt road may need all wheel drive depending on the weather. The only other thing that would be helpful and isn’t much expense is to be sure the house has hand soaps full and plenty of garbage bags. Most people don’t bring their own garbage bags and hand soap on vacation and having the house well appointed with those kinds of amenities is so helpful. It was very peaceful and quiet.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!

My husband and I, as well as some of our bridal party, recently stayed here for the weekend of our wedding. The cabin and the mountain views were so gorgeous! Our three dogs were also in our wedding, and Jessica was so helpful in allowing us to have our pups with us at the cabin! There was plenty of space for everyone, and the game room downstairs was a hit! We would absolutely stay again!

Amazing Time !!!

From the moment we opened the front door we knew we had picked the right cabin for our family vacation. The views were absolutely amazing. The cabin itself had plenty of options to choice from. We did alot of relaxing on the swings on the decks taking in the views and quietness, sitting around the firepit in the evening or soaking in the hot tub. The game room hosted many family game tournaments. We also enjoyed visiting a few of the local wineries and taking time to go floating down the river while visiting Helen. Jessica was a wonderful host. The only negative thing was....we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you again Jessica. Anthony & Family

The cabin itself was great for the family and dog.

The cabin was great! I was so happy we were able to bring the whole family which included our dog. The roads to get up to the cabin were a bit challenging. Once there the views were spectacular! The only thing I would recommend the property manager to work on is the kitchen. The refrigerator was leaking and a whole bunch of water was sitting on the shelves in the frig. This destroyed a lot of my fresh produce since half the door shelves and drawers were missing or broken. Also, they need to purchase some decent pans. Other than these two things the family really enjoyed our stay and loved the views and all the games the cabin offered. We will definitely want to come back again.

Great Getaway, 15 minutes from DT Helen!

We loved our Stay at the Hummingbird, communication with Jessica was easy and efficient and everything was represented very well with the online listing. One of the best views I've ever had while renting out a cabin, the game room and hot tub were a big hit and the kitchen/main living area allowed us to host, cook and entertain. The only draw back is the road getting there turns to gravel and gets pretty steep so the drive in was kind of tricky and would be better suited for an SUV or 4x4 vehicle.
