OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- A rental agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking. Rental agreement will be emailed.

- An off-platform security hold of $300 will be scheduled upon booking 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure (if no damages are reported)I. It must be placed on a credit card, not a debit card. Please note: we utilize a hotel-style software called OwnerRez, which is approved by your booking platform, to process security deposits.

- Unfortunately, no pets allowed & no smoking within 10 feet of the cabin. Violations will incur a $800 fee (covers cleaning and deodorizing).

- No changes or refunds due to illness, road conditions, or acts of God (inclement weather, natural disasters, power or internet outages, or other events beyond host's control). Travel insurance is strongly encouraged.

- Guests’ concerns and/or issues should be in writing in booking platform’s messages within 24 hours of discovery and prior to departure, allowing the hosts sufficient time to document and perform reasonable corrections. Guests are asked to report any issues, repairs, or disruptions to their stay during their stay and must allow the host the opportunity to rectify the issue. Refunds will not be considered for issues reported post-checkout. If hosts are not allowed to make corrections during the day, refunds will not be provided. We believe in making vacations enjoyable and will do our best to fix any problems that may arise during stays.

- We are unable to accommodate early/late check in due to our cleaner's schedule. Guests that stay past our check out time of 10 AM are subject to a late check out fee of $100 each portion of 30 mins or forfeiture of deposit.

- This is a cabin in the woods. You may encounter bugs/pests during your stay, which is normal for a cabin in the woods. We do everything we can to prevent them, including treatment, but please feel free to bring bug repentant if needed.

- Carpenter bees and lady bugs are an area-wide and seasonal pest in the Smokies. We treat for them but you may see them around or in the cabin (especially late fall/early winter), as the treatment doesn’t eliminate them completely. We have a lady bug vac in the living room to take care of any issues.

- We diligently strive to provide listed amenities to our guests but there may be circumstances that prevent this from happening. All amenities may not be available at all times.

- A few items are provided for your convenience upon arrival (trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, coffee, etc.). Guests are encouraged to bring additional items for long stays, as needed.

- The hot tub is drained and cleaned after each guest. It can take up to 6 hours to reach optimal temperature. Please allow time on the night of check in for water to heat up. Standing on the hot tub cover and breaking it will result in a $500 replacement fee. Leaving the hot tub uncovered when not in use may result in maintenance/excessive cleaning fees or forfeiture of deposit.

- Do not feed the bears. Don’t leave any food in your vehicle or outside. Always lock your vehicle & the cabin doors, especially while cooking.
They WILL open doors, come up onto the deck, and get into trash that is left outside. Trash/food that is discarded outside and not disposed in the bear bin will draw the bears to the cabin. Please do not approach the bears. Viewing wildlife from a safe distance and with appropriate precaution is part of the Smoky Mountain experience.

- A motion activated security camera is outside, pointed at the parking area & walkway to the door. It records video and audio 24/7 for property security. There are no cameras pointed at private spaces or inside.
