Excellent communication and accommodations. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has what you probably need to cook if you like. The road to the cabin is just fine and the parking area is flat and has plenty of room to move about. The fire area on the deck is the best! We had coffee while bundled up several mornings out there and roasted marshmallows in the evenings.

Our host Mabel was wonderful and made the process easy. I had never stayed anywhere with VRBO before and will definitely go back. The cabin was decorated perfectly and had all the essentials needed for cooking, grilling or just simply hanging out. We love the location as it was extremely close to Cade’s cove and was less than 15 minutes from both Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge.

We had a great experience with asking questions before booking, reservation/payment process (spreadout), our stay and communications after our stay. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. One of the best features is the fire pit out on the covered deck, my daughter and I had coffee most mornings there and the evenings finished with toasting marshmallows. The drive to the cabin isn't bad at all (yes there's a switchback and a few steep spots but nothing drastic). The location is private but near a few restaurants and a convenience store. The beds were comfortable. We've rented at least 10 cabins in the area over many years and this is one of the best.

Our stay at Storyteller in the Smokies was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated the cabin was. It had everything we needed and more, with thoughtful touches that made it feel so warm and welcoming.The setting is simply stunning. The views of the Smoky Mountains are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the porch soaking in the peace and quiet. To top it off, we even had the amazing experience of seeing bears in the cabin's yard and near the cabin which made our trip even more memorable!The cabin felt private and tucked away, yet still conveniently close to town, the National Park and all the attractions we wanted to explore. Inside, it was cozy and spacious at the same time. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and every detail showed that a lot of care had gone into making this a perfect retreat.Mabel was a wonderful host. Kind, responsive, and thoughtful in making sure our stay was everything we hoped for. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the time we had here.Tip for future guests: Be sure to spend time out on the deck in the early mornings and evenings—the views are incredible, the mountain air is so refreshing, and if you’re lucky, you might spot wildlife just like we did!We would highly recommend Storyteller in the Smokies to anyone.We look forward to staying here again in the future.

This was our second time staying at this cabin and it was just as perfect as the first! Everything was spotless, cozy, and so relaxing — exactly what we needed. We brought our French Bulldog with us and he absolutely loves lounging out on the deck. It’s become our go-to cabin whenever we visit Tennessee. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

The Cabin is wonderful, great views, a nice little yard, flat parking, gas fireplace. We awoke to a bear staring at us thru the downstairs bedroom door window. My dog barked at it before I could snap a picture and away it went! Bathroom showers are slippery, and previous renters did not pick up after their dog, but nobody's fault but previous morons. The back deck is like a big baby gate for your dog, no need to worry about jumping off. I would stay here again in a flat second, Loved it!!!!

The cabin was in the perfect location to get to everywhere we wanted easily. It was absolutely the cleanest cabin we have ever rented. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need to cook and enjoy a good family meal. The quality of the cookware and dishes were very good as well. Not scratched up or cheap warped cookware that we have had at other rentals. Our dogs really enjoyed the level backyard. We loved the hot tub and how each bedroom had its own bathroom. The hosts were amazing to work with and we will definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience!

We had a nice relaxing time at the storyteller cabin. We fished, made s’mores, played pool and uno non stop. Truly we didn’t want to leave. We saw bears 3 different times!! It was really cool !

We enjoyed our family vacation time staying here. Cabin was very clean and the decor was amazing. Each bedroom had a different setting that we found unique. It had a great backyard to play yard games and we all enjoyed playing pool. Our goal was to relax and enjoy the time being together. The most amazing thing we all enjoyed was the outdoor view of the beautiful trees, mountains and sky during the day and night. There is a lot of things to do in the area. We highly recommend this cabin for family vacations.

Nice cabin

Cabin is semi secluded in a good location but not too far from food/ shopping and back entrance to the smoky mountains park the only issue I had was the cabin hadn’t been cleaned clearly in a while the floors were dirty pet hair everywhere everything was thick in dust and we had to find a dollar store to buy a coffee maker because the one provided was disgusting we had to strip a bed and wash bed linens because they had pet hair on them clearly hadn’t been changed from last guest hot tub was dirty so we could utilize that the cabin is nice but definitely needs a DEEP CLEAN And updated furniture I will not stay at this property again

Family trip to the Smokys

Beautiful cabin close to the Smoky Mountains. Comfortable furnishings, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful views. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Owners were great at getting back to us when contacted.

Great for Families

Nice quiet neighborhood. The large enclosed deck was great for our dog who loves to be outside. We used the firepit almost every night, when we watched the sunset.

Absolutely a Dream in the sky

What a great cabin. Plenty of space for four adults and two kids. I could live on the back porch because of the view. Plenty of activities for the kids and adults inside the cabin, spacious hot tub and a unique gas fire pit. Great location up the mountain and positioned between Townsend and Pigeon Forge Easy access to the Park- Cades Cove Hope to stay here again.

Storyteller cabin

Absolutely loved it
we didn’t venture out a lot because it was so nice just to chill and relax..did enjoy cooking our breakfasts there
playing pool was great, something I haven’t done in years!All in all it was a very nice time and look forward to visiting again!
