No unauthorized visitors are permitted.
Septic System (Very Important)
This home has a sensitive septic system.
Only toilet paper may be flushed.
Do not flush wipes (including “flushable” wipes), tampons, pads, paper towels, or any other items. Failure to follow this rule may cause serious damage.
Kitchen & Food
This is a log cabin built in the 1970s. Small mice can get in if food is left out.
All food must be stored in cabinets or sealed containers.
Do not leave dirty dishes out overnight.
Please clean kitchen surfaces after use.
Garden & Grounds
The garden areas are for enjoying and viewing only.
Do not cut or pick flowers or plants.
Please keep the garden gate closed so deer and other wildlife do not enter.
Porch, Doors & Windows
Doors to the screened‑in porch must remain closed at all times. Birds will enter if left open.
Outdoor Fire Pit & Grill
Guests may use the outdoor gas fire pit and grill.
Turn off the propane tank when finished.
Do not over‑tighten the propane valve.
During bad weather, please bring outdoor furniture cushions inside.
Water Use
The well water is excellent. Please be mindful and conservative with water usage.
Trash & Recycling
All trash must be placed in the metal trash bin inside the shed.
Dog waste bags should be placed inside the larger trash bin.
Recycling should be placed in the recycling bin in the shed.
At the end of your stay, please ensure all trash and recycling are properly placed in the shed bins.
Pets
Please clean up after pets promptly and dispose of waste bags in larger trash bags. Do NOT throw little poop bags into the trash can directly- place in larger bag.
Ticks & Outdoor Safety
Pennsylvania has one of the highest deer tick populations in the country.
Guests are responsible for checking themselves and pets for ticks after spending time outdoors.

Departure Instructions
Before departure, please:
Place all trash and recycling in the shed bins
Turn heat down to 55°F
Turn off AC and all fans
Close all windows
Lock all doors
