CASA M. Suite in an ancient eco-sustainable farmhouse.

Casa M is a lady who for centuries with its stone walls has been observing the small town of Siddi, in the heart of Marmilla. Its location is on the border between the green hills and the town. It has been restored with a careful conservative approach, using natural materials, such as raw earth and lime for its plasters, chestnut and juniper wood for its roofing.
Emily's Suite is a newly refurbished spacious bedroom with its own bathroom and sitting room. The walk-in shower and contemporary features complete the charm of a space characterised by stone lintels and original floor tiles. Facing the private courtyard it comes with the right amount of sunshine, quietness and comfort.

Guests can enjoy a dedicated space for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The internal courtyard surrounded by high walls is softened by climbing plants and flowers along the cobblestones. The interiors are naturally cool in summer thanks to the thick walls and plaster applied.
Our library, with titles in various languages, mostly in Italian and English, is available to our guests. You can spend time in this quiet and pleasantly intimate room to recharge during the day.
Breakfast is served in the next room, but when weather permits it can also be eaten on the porch along the front of the property.

Breakfast, included in all our rates, is based on seasonal and local products. We will be happy to give you directions, or to accompany you in case you do not speak Italian, to get to know the realities that produce these products in the surrounding area, the owners will be just as happy to meet you. The property doesn’t currently provide the use of our kitchens.
Casa M is located a short distance from the most famous places of interest in central Sardinia (the Giara plateau or the Su Nuraxi nuraghe di Barumini) but Siddi is lucky enough to have its small basaltic plateau, "Su Pran 'e Siddi", which houses a system of 16 nuraghi, some of which can be visited with a guide (for example the nuraghe and park of "Sa Fogaia" or the tomb of the Giants "Sa Domu 'e S' Orcu").

To complete the offer, two minutes from Casa M, there are two museums: the Ornithological Museum of Sardinia and the Steri House Museum, a residence of the '600 transformed into the Museum of Agri-Food Traditions after careful restoration.
Casa M is also strategically located near a restaurant, also located in a historic villa, and with which we collaborate for lunches and dinners. Siddi also has a delightful trattoria, just a few minutes' walk from Casa M.
Upon reservation we can organize workshops or activities to discover how Marmilla's products are created or transformed: its varieties of pasta, its bread, but also the dyes of wool with natural dyes, wine, cheese. Our drinks are often fermented: Kombucha or sodas created in our kitchens, let us know in advance if you are interested in a workshop to learn how to create them and take care of them, you can also take away a starter with you to continue in your kitchen.

Arriving by car you may find a convenient public parking lot at the back of the property. Alternatively we can put you in touch with those who deal with transfers from Cagliari Elmas airport, which is about 45 minutes away, or those who accompany you by car with driver or minivan, upon reservation, to places of interest that are not within walking distance.
Last but not least, for those who hear the call of the waves, our favorite beaches are just an hour away, ask us how to get there!
