Aria is located within the luxurious hillside development of Rodon, which comprises two other villas, each set within its own private grounds and each served by its own swimming pool. The architecture of each house is traditional, the stone locally quarried, and the design concept authentically Greek, while at the same time accommodating maximum comfort together with practical modern amenities. Aria enjoys a total area of 180 sqm and offers a luxurious holiday experience with breathtaking views of the Aegean, along with the sunset splendour of the North Sporades Islands, principally Skiathos.

The interior of Aria is brimming with character, largely achieved through the use of locally-sourced materials, such as natural stone for the walls – actually quarried on site, just behind the villa - and exposed timbers for the ceilings and beams. This flavour of authenticity is extended to the interior design; for example, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas, which incorporate handcrafted detail together with shades of blue and white in the furniture, thus blending island simplicity with stylish contemporary comfort. A truly Greek flavour underpins the elegance of every living space.

The villa comprises four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two master suites on the first and second floors enjoy the stunning westerly views that make this villa so exceptional. Their balconies present a horizon vista of ocean and islands that is indescribable in its beauty, basking in glorious Hellenic sunlight by day, or drenched in dreamy golds and pinks at sunset cocktail hour.

The two further guest bedrooms are in the semi-basement of the building, which are a welcome cool refuge from the summer warmth. They offer quieter privacy, ideal for complete relaxation and disconnection from the outside world.

The outdoor grounds of Aria complement the villa’s interior elegance and refinement, and, of course, they also enjoy those spectacular views that make this elevated hillside location so very special. Glades of olives, lawns, herbaceous borders and native, flowering shrubs are framed by natural stone paths, in the midst of which is the villa’s private pool, its surround paved with slates quarried on Pelion, the mountain that towers over the western horizon, clearly visible from the house. There is ample space poolside for play, dance or wellbeing routines, such as yoga or pilates. Comfortable poolside loungers invite sunbathers for hours of leisurely reading or quiet meditation, looking towards islands that pepper the horizon. Aria’s swimming pool is of course an indispensable oasis of coolness on hot summer days, but also alluringly romantic in the evening, with its subtle lighting, enriched by the spread of moonlight that shimmers across the distant dark waters of the Aegean.

An outdoor bathroom next to the pool adds convenience and comfort, especially on warm summer days.

All balconies, terraces and outdoor spaces at Aria offer panoramic views, a glorious backdrop for long Mediterranean meals and sunset drinks.
