Welcome to Heaven on the River, an extraordinary 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom r i v e r f r o n t cabin retreat that offers an unparalleled experience in the Broken Bow market. Nestled on 18 private acres along the stunning Upper Mountain Fork River and bordering a national forest, this one-of-a-kind getaway is just 20 minutes north of Hochatown. With a completely unique experience to Broken Bow, Heaven on the River sits atop a scenic bluff overlooking some of the clearest waters in the region, known for exceptional fishing and breathtaking views.

This pet-friendly cabin sleeps up to 12 guests, allowing you to bring your furry friends along for the adventure (please see notes at the end of this description regarding pet fees and additional services you can add to your stay).

Unrivaled Waterfront Access and Outdoor Adventure!
Your adventure begins with a short 5-minute walk down to the river access point, where guests can enjoy free use of provided kayaks. Paddle through the scenic waters or take a refreshing swim in this pristine river (please remember to bring your own life jackets). Adding to this unique experience, Heaven on the River boasts ownership of a small private island directly below the bluff where you can explore, fish, or simply relax in complete solitude—a feature you won't find at any other cabin in Broken Bow! Access to this island is only permitted for our guests (both at Heaven on the River and Paradise on the River, see notes below regarding Heaven's sister cabin), so this is *your private island* - have you ever had a rental come with a private island before?!
For the more adventurous, launch the kayaks north of the property and enjoy an exhilarating and scenic 20+ mile float trip with minor rapids (guests are responsible for transporting and returning the kayaks after each use).

Inside, the open-concept living and dining area welcomes you with warm rustic charm and modern amenities. The spacious living room features two cozy sofas, an oversized armchair, and a gas fireplace, all complemented by a large smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen offers ample space for meal preparation, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.

Sleeping Arrangements:
- Downstairs King Suite – Relax in a luxurious king bed with a smart TV and private en suite bathroom.
- Downstairs Queen Bedroom – Includes a comfortable queen bed and smart TV.
- Shared Hallway Bathroom – Features a stunning floor-to-ceiling rock walk-in shower.
- Upstairs Bunk Room – Twin-over-full bunk bed, ideal for kids or additional guests.
- Loft Area – Another twin-over-full bunk, a futon, and a twin pull-out bed, plus a mini-pool table and smart TV for endless entertainment.
-Upstairs Full Bathroom – Convenient shower/tub combo for shared use.

Outdoor Serenity and Entertainment
Step outside to the back covered patio, where you can take in panoramic views of the river and enjoy breathtaking sunsets. The patio offers outdoor dining, ample seating, and a gas grill (propane provided) for evening cookouts. The private hot tub cabana provides a relaxing retreat with the same picturesque river views. To the side of the cabin, a fire pit area surrounded by towering pine trees offers the perfect setting for s'mores and storytelling under the stars.

*ENCHANTMENT ON THE RIVER*
For even bigger gatherings, Heaven on the River has a neighboring sister cabin, Paradise on the River, located just 50 yards away. Together, they can be booked under the listing "Enchantment on the River" offering a combined 7-bedroom, 6-bathroom retreat that accommodates up to 29 guests. This combined rental includes 2 kitchens, 2 grills, 2 hot tubs, and a variety of amenities such as a full-size pool table, shuffleboard table, and free use of 7 total kayaks. Both cabins are pet-friendly, making them perfect for multi-family vacations or large group getaways.

While Heaven on the River offers a peaceful escape, it's still within easy reach of all the top attractions in Hochatown and Broken Bow. Whether you're exploring the hiking trails of Beavers Bend State Park, dining at local favorites, or enjoying the area's breweries and wineries, you're just a short drive away from it all.

Guest notes and added services: 
p e t s : There is a flat fee of $50/night *per cabin that brings pets.* Pet limit is 3 per cabin. Please reach out to us if you have a special request. 
e a r l y  / l a t e: We may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out (2 additional hours) for $50 unless there is another reservation within 24 hours of your reservation. This must be requested and approved by your SkyRun host! We compensate our team additional funds for accommodating guest requests and coordinating their daily schedules and/or working after hours to help make this happen for our valued guests. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent. 
f i r e w o o d : You can opt for bundles of firewood to be delivered to your cabin for your stay. 6-8 pieces (depending on size) for $20. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent. 
F i r e p l a c e s : Fireplaces are free to be enjoyed seasonally October 1st through April 30th. You are welcome to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit year round! No cooking or roasting marshmallows in any fireplaces, but please roast away on those wood burning fire pits! Tampering or turning on fireplaces outside of the seasonal window will result in fines.
