The fully equipped eat-in kitchen has a large island & custom wood/glass cabinets. The dining room table has seating for six people. The main level also hosts the primary bedroom with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and private access to the balcony. There is also a mudroom and laundry room off of the kitchen.
The second-floor loft bedroom has its own private bathroom and features a reclaimed cypress wood ceiling and hand-forged iron hardware. A loft door can open to the living room and allows enjoyment of the stone fireplace below.
The walkout basement is accessed from the first floor and offers another bedroom suite with its own private bathroom and a covered private entry with a hammock. The main room offers plenty of recreational or sleeping/bunk opportunities in addition to having several large storage rooms. A wood-burning stove completes the cozy feel of this room.
In the winter, the Flathead Valley is famous for its world-class skiing and wide range of winter activities. There are two ski resorts in the area, including the local favorite Whitefish Mountain Resort and the family-friendly Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. Whitefish Mountain Resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! Visitors to the area can also enjoy ice fishing on Flathead Lake, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in Glacier National Park, and snowmobiling with one of the local outfitters.
