We had a family reunion and George's kitchen was equipped with all the necessary cookware and lots of dinner dishes for preparing and serving large meals. The large deck was great! We enjoyed staying in such a beautiful home.

This is one of my favorite Airbnb's I've ever stayed at - the house is beautiful, clean, and such a great experience. There were eight of us who stayed very comfortably. The kitchens, the gardens, the outdoor deck - everything was so lovely and well-kept. There are many vintage items in the house that I called my mom to ask what they were for and she was so excited to see them. It felt like stepping into a gorgeous house from the past. The hosts were very hospitable and left dessert for us, and it was delicious!! We were made to feel at home. 10/10 would recommend

This is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Not only is the house big, charming, comfortable, clean, all the things you want, but we also took advantage of the host’s offer to cater dinner for all 3 nights we were there. We never had to worry about anything. We just sat back and relaxed and visited with family (some of whom lived in the area and came over for dinner). All the kids loved running around the huge yard (the property is beautiful). We even had a local duo come play music on the back porch for one of the dinners!! It was simply amazing. George (Skip), the host, is so incredibly friendly and hospitable. So easy going. Felt right at home immediately. All I can say is that we had such an amazing time. Thank you, Skip!!
The Space:
**Kitchen **
The gorgeously renovated kitchen in this house is fully stocked. It comes with a Keurig coffee maker, gas stove, dishwasher, oven, and all the cookware and tableware necessary to make a gourmet dinner. In addition, this kitchen contains a pot filler and two sinks/garbage disposals. *Note: Please consider using the top oven, as the bottom oven isn't always dependable.
**Dining Areas**
There are two distinct dining spaces in this house. The first is located in the kitchen and seats three. There is also a spacious dining room with a large table that can accommodate up to eight guests.
**Living Room**
This open living area has many windows that let in plenty of natural light, a flat-screen smart TV, and a brick fireplace (for decor only). Enjoy unwinding on the antique furniture. This is the ideal location for guests to sit back, relax, and spend time with friends and family.
**Parlor**
A second living room is created in the parlor. Despite the absence of televisions, visitors can still enjoy playing board games, reading a book, or relaxing on the furniture. Additionally, this area features doors that provide extra seclusion.
**Bedroom 1**
All of the bedrooms are located upstairs with stunning refinished hardwood floors. Bedroom 1 has a full-sized bed. There is also a designated workspace in this room. The desk is spacious and ideal for being productive. Additionally, this room has a large wardrobe that may be utilized to store clothes.
**Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4**
Each of these three bedrooms has a comfortable queen-sized bed. Additionally, each of these rooms has a closet and dresser that may be utilized to store clothes. A nightstand with a lamp is also included in every room.
**Bathrooms**
Downstairs, there is a single bathroom that is conveniently next to the kitchen. Upstairs, near each of the four bedrooms, are the remaining two bathrooms. Use the hair dryer, body wash, conditioner, shampoo, and premium towels that are provided.
**Laundry**
A washer and dryer are located in one of the upstairs bathrooms, available for guests to use at no additional cost.
**Outdoor Space**
This property includes a beautiful, spacious yard. There is plenty of grass for kids and pets to play! Also, feel free to bring along your own yard games. The backyard features a tire swing and a fire pit. In addition, this property also has a large rear deck and a front porch that is great for relaxing. There are two tables on the back deck for outdoor dining. The grill is also available for guests to use!

Guest Access:
There is no access for guests to the basement, attic, upstairs linen closet, garage and connecting pantry or any of the other sheds on the grounds. All other areas of the property are open for guests to use.

Great Allegheny Passage: It just takes 21 minutes to drive to the Meyersdale trailhead. Walk or ride your bike from Meyersdale to the Salisbury Viaduct bridge for a 360-degree view of breathtaking farms and forests.
Cole Run Falls: A 23-minute drive to Cole Run Falls, a stunning two-tiered waterfall. located in Forbes State Forest.
Ten Covered Bridges: Visitors are welcome to drive or stroll across Somerset County's ten covered bridges. These Bridges are the ideal setting for a picture!
Mountain Ridge ATV Park: Located just 30 minutes away Mountain Ridge ATV Park is the perfect place for ATV and Dirt Bike riders of all levels!
Shawnee State Park: This state park offers swimming, boating, and fishing in its beautiful lake. Shawnee also provides hiking and mountain biking. Shawnee is a 42-minute drive.

Glades Pike Winery: Glades Pike Winery is a family-owned winery popular for its welcoming atmosphere, wine tastings, and scenic property. This winery is only a 7-minute drive from the house.

Fireplaces: The fireplaces located inside the house are for decor only. They are not hooked up and cannot be used.
Oil Lamps: The oil lamps are also to be used only for decor.
Pets: Pets are permitted under certain conditions, along with a pet fee. If you would like to bring a pet, please get pre-approval ahead of time.
