This super cute and comfortable 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with exposed brick and an industrial vibe is a great place to spend a week or a long weekend. It is walking distance to beautiful downtown South Haven.. The condo has many nice amenities for a comfortable stay. Three smart TV's, all new appliances, new beds, new living room furniture along with a well stocked kitchen and coffee bar make for an easy getaway.

This condo is located within convenient walking distance to all that South Haven has to offer. Just 10 minutes ( 6 blocks) from the beach and 2 minutes (2 blocks) from farmers market, marina, shopping and restaurants. Exceptional on-site amenities include a year round indoor/outdoor heated pool with hot tub, large outdoor patio with community gas grills, 2 movie theatres, gym and exercise room, and an additional patio with firepit.

We have been coming to SoHa for years and this was the first time we stayed in a condo instead of a house. The condo was bigger than we were expecting based on the pictures! The kitchen had the basics (though if you have young kids you may want to bring plastic cups with you). The building was pretty quiet except for my kids and people were very friendly. The pool was open anytime it seemed like and was great for when it was raining outside. Location was okay in that it was about 3 or so blocks to the edge of downtown. The walk to the beach was fine except the big hill at the very end - the wagon at the condo came in handy for sure! The reason I gave this 4 stars and probably more accurate at 3.5 was the wifi issues. We had expected the wifi to be functional and that was mostly not the case and when it was working, it was a very low signal. So my advice would be if you need to do anything with wifi either do not stay here or plan to go to the library or something. There are 3 tvs but sometimes with wifi outages, they weren't working.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ground Floor Getaway. It was the perfect for my family with little ones. We especially loved the easy access to our van, quick walk to downtown, the pool, the spacious condo, and all of the additional supplies (chairs, beach wagon, cooler, etc) was so helpful for us. It was a little too far for us to walk to the beach but very quick drive! I would highly suggest this property to family and friends.

Quick spring break getaway

Visited South Haven in late April before the busy season got started. Second time staying in this wonderfully renovated school building, first time in this unit. The space and location are perfect. Absolutely love the pool and hot tub. Amenities were fantastic. This remains our go-to spot to stay in South Haven.

Cozy winter weekend away

Just two teacher friends looking tog eat away for a 3-day weekend. Communication with the renters was EXCELLENT. So helpful and attentive. The property is beautiful and perfectly located and so fun. Very clean and it was so prepared for anything a renter might need. We can’t wait to go back or check their other properties they may have. Very impressed. .

Great location

The condo is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed it. Access to the pool and hot tub is nice and it's walkable to downtown. The only suggestion I would make is for the kitchen to be better supplied. There weren't any dishes that were microwave safe except coffee mugs and no other cookware such as a casserole dish or cookie sheet. The multitude of towels was greatly appreciated as well as the toiletries. Highly recommend.

Great weekend getaway!

Great condo in a very unique building with lots of character - highly recommend! Had everything we need for a long weekend with the family. I would echo previous comments that the “pin drop” location on VRBO doesn’t accurately show location so we expected to be closer to the beach. Very convenient to walk downtown and explore.

Perfect South Haven Getaway

This location was perfect. A walk to the beach, a little long, but doable. Better yet was the close proximity to the downtown area and some of our favorite restaurants. My teenage boys absolutely loved their room and bathroom. They brought their PS5 to play on down time and they were able to connect to the tv. The WiFi was a little weak, but we made due. The washer and dryer were efficient. Their kitchen had a fancy oven that took me a second to figure out, but it was great. We would definitely choose to stay there again.
