Winter get away

Had a great time. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Had a small issue figuring out the hot tub and a small problem with the garbage disposal. They were there within a few minutes. Both gentlemen were polite and very helpful.House was great, plenty of room for eveyone. The staff on the phone were always polite. Thanks for a great time!!! We'll be backing 😎

Family Beach Getaway

First the positives! The location is perfect, the amount of bedrooms is great for large families, the outdoors amenities are nice. The kitchen is very small but very well furnished. The only thing it needs is a few more sauce pans. Now for the negatives. First of all the living area downstairs is very small for the amount of people that can stay there. Also the kitchen has almost no counter space and is very small. The dining area can handle a lot of people but the chairs need a little TLC, the seats need some reinforcing. Also downstairs the water pressure is almost non-existant. The kitchen sink has a heavy trickle and the bedroom has the same issue in the shower and sink. The shower downstairs is also very narrow to get into, I am not a large person but had to turn sideways to enter the shower. The king bedroom had no lights that worked other than a couple of bedside lamps. The entire home needs some major upgrades! Outdoors was a nice retreat, especially for the kids. The only downside was that the pool water was not really cool. It still felt better than the heat outside but a little cooler would have been nice. I had my doubts about renting this home after reading some reviews, but the outside sold me on it because my grandkids love to play basketball. I'm not sure if I would rent this home again, I think it would need some upgrades before that will happen

Birthday Getaway

Family of 20 but ended up with 9 who were ale to enjoy this birthday weekend ON THE BEACH! House was in the PERFECT Location and large enough to have our own space for quiet time. Pool and hot tub was more enjoyable than the beach. Was a bit too windy but still had warm ocean water. Were able to enjoy EVERYTHING the house had to offer. Very quiet and relaxing. Easy check in and out. House had a few minor things that were fixed within an hour of calling. Overall, WE ARE ALREADY LOOKING FOR A DATE to come back so the entire family can enjoy again. Thank you SPI for an amazing weekend!!!

Fun in the sun

Overall our stay was good. Check in process was very easy. Communication with SPI rentals was excellent. The pool and basketball court was amazing for our family of mostly teens. The home itself was OK. There was nothing terribly unpleasant, although the home does need some updates, and could be cleaned better upon arriving. The organization of the the dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and cooking utensils needs some attention as does the dishwasher for those families doing cooking in the home. Overall our stay was good, and I would recommend this facility for large family groups.

Really good stay!

We had 15 family members staying together ages ranging from one to 80. As mentioned in other reviews this house shows larger in the pictures, and is more tired than the pictures show. We had a great stay and there was room for everyone. The pool is smaller than it appears but was still very nice, hot tub was nice also! Basketball court was very nice and used quite a bit! We did call maintenance and they were very prompt and addressed our questions. This company was really great to work with. The location of the property is awesome, I would stay here again.

Disappointing

I know that images online for homes are stretched and manipulated so the property appears bigger, but I have never seen one so far off. The rooms are very much smaller than they appear in the images. The pool slide appeared to be huge and its a baby slide, not meant for adults. The air hockey is a mini air hockey, not all size as it appears. Those are just a couple examples to give you the idea on this. I was also very disappointed with the shape the house was in. Cabinets hanging off hinges, cabinets don't shut properly, no rugs, squished together furniture, and just very cheaply done. One image shows a large door going out to the side yard that is no longer there but you can see in the wall where it used to be. In addition I found a large rat trap beside my bed. Thankfully it was empty, but disturbing to see. If you want a house that can sleep many, has a nice outdoor area of the kids, and you are fine with low end amenities then it will be fine for you, but the mansion and higher end look I saw in the images were not what the house actually is. The property management was spot on, very helpful and made check in and out very easy.

Great property

We had a large group -4 couples, 4 kids ages 11-20 and 1infant. Great accommodations for sleeping. Great location and across the street from the beach. Outdoor space was awesome and well used by all. Pool is large and kids loved the basketball court. Would recommend a car unless you plan to cook most of your meals in the house. The kitchen is small in comparison to the house and the appliances are mid-grade, but they are functional and adequate. The house is not luxurious and is quite modest in its finishings, however, it was clean and fine for our group. There is a lot of furniture and living space which was most important for a group our size. I would recommend this property. We loved how close to the beach it it.

Perfect location!

We loved the house and pool! Just it seems to be a little dated on the interior but the space made up for it. We had some issues with the AC upstairs, but maintenance was quick to respond and fix it. Location was perfect for beach access and walking distance to many shops and the grocery store. We planned our vacation to be relaxing and it was just that! If we ever get back to SPI we'll definitely consider this house again!

Perfect beach house for entire family!

We had a group of 16 of us and the house was amazing! We were a little afraid of having high expectations and being let down after some of the reviews but we had not ONE issue! The house was clean, the AC worked great, it was spacious, the game room was popular for our teens and the pool and basketball court kept everyone plenty entertained after winding down from an all day beach day! Checkin was fast and simple, and the property management was always nice and helpful to all my questions. Our family very much enjoyed this house and will be back!

Great location terrible house

Unfortunately the pictures' and description of this house were deceiving . The aesthetics and landscape have been poorly cared for. The layout of the house is not conductive for families (perhaps college students). The kitchen is very small and our family likes to cook but the space was limited. . The stove's front burners were either on or off, no heat regulation whatsoever. We had some burnt food. Kitchen cabinets are old and poor condition. The refrigerator was leaking condensation and constantly need to mop up. First floor master bedroom bathroom is a joke. If you weigh more then 200 lbs. you might have a problem getting into the shower. The sliding glass door is very narrow and not squared.. The location , pool , and basketball court are great amenities but the landscaping is overgrown with cockroaches crawling around as inside the house. The house also does not have a pleasant smell. This house needs a complete makeover and new appliances to be worth the price and I paid a pretty penny. Never again.

Sorry to say you live in you where I would never rent from this property ever again

First and foremost believe every review you read about this property about the downfalls when we checked in and open the door sorry to say but they were roaches going everywhere the smell of the house is true it smells like sewer the house was not even clean properly the floors were horribly dirty walls were horribly dirty The pool table was broken leaning to the side Hot tub didn’t work til a day later after they had Maintenance come out only one side of the barbecue pit work went in the downstairs restroom in the living room on the sink there was mice poop or rat poop water pressure is horrible fans that they supply for you in the house are horribly dirty basically the house needs to be re-renovated honestly the house is hazard with the roach infested problem and mice or rats I call the property manager I explained to him the issues he told me he could send cleaning crew out after the fact we already checked in and I had my family there I asked the property manager if there was anything he could do to move us or contact owner and he simply laughed at me and when I confronted him about it he told me he wasn’t laughing at me it was a nervous laugh i’m not the person to complain when it comes to rentals because I’ve never had issues like this ever so my suggestion is before you want to rent this property don’t believe in the pictures and believe in the bad reviews

GREAT SIZE SWIMMING POOL ADN OVER GREAT PLACE JUST AHD A BAD DOG POOP SMELL OUTSIDE, REALLY COULD NOT TELL WHY EVERYTHING LOOKED CLEAN OR MAYBE WAS THE SEWER LINE BUT OVERALL EXCELLENTE PLACE LOTS OF ROOM

Perfect Break for Spring Break

It is the perfect place to bring teenage boys for spring break. They had an absolute blast. They went from playing pool to playing basketball to swimming in the pool. The location was great. It was close to everything. As a mother of a 17 year old boy, it was everything to hear my son say, "Thanks for planning this trip, Mom! This is better than anything I could have thought up!" The only thing that was a disappointment was none of the tv's worked well. The guide wasn't accurate. The wifi would drop out and the television would suddenly change channels or skip back constantly during a show.
