Overall the stay was good. The house was beautiful, plenty of room. Kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Although We did have to go get a refill on the propane tank ourselves which was supposed to already have been ready for us. And we had to get trash bags because there were none to be found. Another downer was finding proscriptions from previous stays there in kitchen. Overall a good stay would go back.

The photos are deceiving. They are definitely photo shopped to make the pool larger and rooms. The hot tub buttons were peeling off, so we didn't know what the buttons controlled. The back side of the house around the roof looks like it has black mold, and the gutter or siding is falling off. We received a text letting us know "If earlier check-in is available, we will text you separately." The day of check-in I made contact a little over one hour earlier than check-in time to ask about checking in early since I never received anything. They told me "early check-in would not be possible because this property doesn't offer it." If it isn't offered, why was it even mentioned? The table was noticeably dirty upon arriving with circles from cups being sat on it which made me question everything else in the house. Take extra trash bags with you as we weren't supplied enough for our stay and had to purchase some. We went during off season so had we booked this during summer when the rates are 3x or 4x what we paid I would be extremely upset.

Location is AMAZING, Can Walk to numerous stores and restaurants. Does Have a little view of ocean from front balcony which was Nice! The discription of property Rms NOT True
master has King and a small futon you could fit a smaller child on, then there are 2 rms with twin/queen bunk beds, and a TINY 4th rm with no window that has a full/twin bunk bed.All beds were the metal beds you get like for a kids bdrm including the bed frame in master. If you’re 2 larger individuals I’d really want to know the weight rating, not very sturdy. The discription really should be changed to reflect the true sleeping arrangements as if you came with 3 couples and thought you were putting all the kiddos in the rm with all the beds you will be disappointed:-( I could go on about the cleanliness but there is too much to put I wish I could just post pictures:-( The outdoor spaces were GROSS!! I will say they did send someone promptly to clean! The hot tub didn’t work and that was so disappointing as in previous reviews other guests also stated did not work and response was it was fixed it wasn’t:-( No hot tub just a cold tub and then the pool also was not cleaned food in it bottom gross:-( They did send someone to clean and try and fix hot tub but was not fixed during our week stay but pool was cleaned! This could be a Beautiful home but the upkeep needs some help!!! You can tell it’s not cleaned well between guests! baseboards of a home cleaned regularly should not have caked on dirt:-(

60th birthday

We went to Padre to celebrate 3 of our group’s 60th birthday. The house was open when we got there. The back door would only open occasionally. The hot tub never got hot (the main reason we rented this place was the hot tub). I sent messages to Vacasa. Our first night there, the text (the only way to reach them) reply said they would look into the problem. After I sent 4 messages, we gave up. Sent messages again the 2nd day. This time they said they would send someone to look at the hot tub and back door. No one ever arrived. The bbq grill in the back yard looked like it should have been tossed. Nowhere near what the one in the listing picture showed. We wanted to spray down the patio because there were a ton of ants, but neither of the two hoses worked. There were ants in the kitchen, all over the counters. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of attention paid to this property. The property management is definitely not doing their job. We will not be recommending this property or property management to anyone.

Overall good experience..

Home is walking distance from the beach. Home has a great pool that was suitable for a party of 11. Home had 4 rooms to accommodate living quarters. Home had a suitable kitchen and dining area for meals and lounging areas both inside and out. No complaints. I wouldn't mind rebooking the place for my next visit.

Really lovely place to host 3 generations! One room is quite small barely enough to fit a bed length and width, I do recommend minor cleaning such as sheets-found dirt particles in the bed in the smaller room. Maybe some cosmetic updates such as painting the rails, walls at the entrance, chipped toilet tank lid, puncture door, cigarette butts outside, dog poop outside in the backyard. And this is because I’m observant
but it’s really a lovely place

Couple friends retreat

The space was fantastic, walking distance to the beach and house layout with pool is excellent. Room for improvement in amenities available including, more towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper goods etc. There were not enough towels provided for our group of 8 adults for basic showering. When we arrived the sheets were not clean on 2/4 beds and there were ants in the pantry - they were very responsive and addressed any issues immediately sending a crew over to clean and address our concerns. Would recommend a more clear explanation of how little is provided in the home as far as amenities or improvements in those areas.

Great location, but a few issues

The house layout is beautiful & location is amazing! We had issues with ants on the kitchen counter & pantry. The outside trash bin was full, so the outside smelled when we arrived. This also made it challenging for us to throw the inside trash. Restroom sink wouldn’t drain properly. Pool felt heated and grill was dirty. Overall, the house could have used a good cleaning. Couches had stains & some doors need a paint job. The white doors look dirty. Otherwise, we would have rated this house a five.

Great SPI Beach House

Our recent stay at this beach house in South Padre Island was an absolute delight! The vacation rental, within walking distance of the beach, provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable family getaway. The well maintained and thoughtfully furnished house offered spacious rooms for relaxation. The highlight of our stay was the pool and hot tub, providing a refreshing respite after beach adventures. The beach's proximity allowed for leisurely strolls and breathtaking views. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy living area were perfect for family time. The property management team was responsive and accommodating with any issues we brought to their attention. Overall, this beach house in South Padre Island is a fantastic choice for a family vacation.

Not 4 bedrooms

The property was clean and very nice, close to grocery store and beach. The problem is we wanted a 4 bedroom for 4 adult couples. This was a 3 bedroom with a bed shoved in a closet. The 4th room they call a bedroom had no closet or window and had a pocket door because the wasn't enough space for a door to open or close. There was probably 12 inches from the wall to the bed. We had to put the luggage in the downstairs utility room. So, if you are looking for a 4 bedroom for 8 adults this is not what you would be happy with.

Perfect location, great home!

We loved our stay. The house is perfectly in the middle between the bay and beach. Walking distance to almost everything! House was clean and pool was great! Outdoor shower is a must and so convenient (only would add to have a keypad lock by the shower as well so you don't have to go through the house to open it) Loved the decor as well. Roomy and clean!

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful, very clean, spacious & had all necessary amenities. The only thing I wasn’t satisfied with was the pool & hot tub. They had green algae on the walls & floors like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I sent the person in charge a text & 20 minutes later a man arrived to clean it & was done in 20 minutes. It still wasn’t clean after he left so we weren’t able to use either one. Other than that, it was perfect

The house is looking very modern. All house floor are equipped with tiles. It is really clean and feel cool. Especially in a humid beach, you won't feel muggy. I am satisfied with bathrooms, they are all very clean. It is inside the town, so if you need ocean view, it may not be your choice.

Marvelous time

The property was exactly as seen in the pictures. The location is convenient because the grocery store is a few steps away and the beach only two blocks walking. The house had everything we needed. It wasn't necessary to contact the property manager. We enjoyed the evening time cooking and eating in the patio. We had a great time and we recommend this property.
