This rental is in the basement of a home that is also being rented. The walls and ceiling lacked insulation so I could hear the baby and adults talking through the main locked door to the other rental and through the ceiling, which is in the middle of the space I rented. There is also a loud noise from a locked space in the apt that would go on an off randomly and stay on for a while, none of which was conducive to sleep. There was no dish rack for drying the dishes, only 2 very small wicker baskets for all the trash, inlcuding any food waste. The stovetop worked once and stopped. The home is on a busy street, which I could hear from the rental. The entrance is quite a distance from the space you have to park your car; the temperature in the rental is not controllable. I told the owner about all of this. Her answer was that the ad for the space had all that information in it, which I checked and did not find. The phone number for the owner was so trying to talk with the owner ended up being via Vrbo app and the Vrbo customer service. The owner would not discuss a refund with me or with the Vrbo rep. I've never rented from an owner who cared so little about the renters.
