excellent base for exploring western ma
I have a friend in florence, ma. and also wanted a cheap place to stay for a week so that i could explore some of western MA. I found the place really easily and it is conveniently located near a wholefoods, trader joes, cinema, target, barnes and noble etc. My room had two queen beds (though i only asked for one!), a fridge, microwave, tv and was clean, quiet, big and everything you expect from a good motel. The staff were friendly, the shower was hot, the place was clean, not at all noisy, everything worked fine. I would recommend this motel for sure.
Breakfast was muffins and bagels, OJ, coffee, tea. I made my own breakfast as I have a strict diet, but the coffee was good and breakfast was adequate for a refuel. There was no kettle or coffee pot in the room, but i bought a cheap mug ad just heated water in the microwave for tea! No biggie. Plenty of places to get coffee nearby anyhow.
