The room was old and out of date. Examples such as rusted towel hooks, warped shelves and dirty floors. The front of the building is actually being supported by metal support beams on each of the floors to prevent it from collapsing. One of the support beams is right outside our bedroom window. This should have been disclosed prior to booking. There is orange snow fence preventing access to the walkway.

Location! Location location! Close to grocery store (brand new Publix is awesome!) and it was close to shopping and downtown St. Augustine. The condo was perfect for the 2 of us and our dog- though it can accommodate 4 adults, it may be right. It is an older condo complex but it was very accommodating with the beach access and the pool being right under the room. Elevator was located right outside the room but we didn't hear anything. Would definitely stay again.

Housekeeping does a great job on this unit. Management company was excellent on all counts. Everything is as pictured. Location and views are excellent and we had a wonderful, romantic week! The owners would do well to offer more creative storage options. It's awkward at best to unpack and tuck bags away. The best storage option in bedroom is filled with linens and games. The loveseat definitely needs replaced as it's super uncomfortable. Luckily there were only two of us. No seating for four other than high top dining table. We watched the world series from bed to avoid loveseat. Again, great otherwise and views, pool and beach were magnificent! Lovely job on the kitchen remodel!

Condo was suitable for our weekend however, dealing with the leasing company-Distinctive Beach Rentals was a nightmare. In order to rent the condo it was like signing for a mortgage. Than I had to prove my identity by complying with numerous emails-Email 1- send a picture of yourself (did that)Email 2- send a picture of you identification (did that)Email 3- send another picture of your identification so we can see all four corners of the ID (did that)Email 4-send picture of yourself holding your identification next to your face so "I" could prove to them that it was "ME" they were dealing with. called and spoke to representative and it was explained that their company experienced fraud and theft so it was necessary to go through this procedure. Even though I had to go through this multi-step process they did not hesitate to charge my credit card. I always find that to be fascinating. Anyway, would not rent through the company again.

The cable tv is not very good. You don’t get very many channels to watch and the TV is not set up for you to be able to log into your personal Netflix account and watch movies. This was a big deal for us. Also, the condo was not extremely clean. There were cobwebs and the floors really needed to be swept and mopped. However, overall, we had a good time.

Relaxing at the beach

We enjoyed our stay, the unit’s description was spot on ,easy access to the pool and beach.The pool was great,beautiful beach and excellent location.There’s a lots of excellent restaurants close by.I think the living room and outdoor furniture needs to be updated.

Back to the Beach

The beach is a special place for my husband and me, so that is where we went to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. We chose unit 307 so we would have a good view of the waves and surf. The sunrise was beautiful. Although we didn't cook anything, the kitchen appeared to be adequately stocked if we had wished to do so. The king-size bed was a treat and very comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we will probably go back to Crescent Beach again soon .
