While you might find yourself playing at the resort and lagoon all day, you will also adore spending time in this Pirate-themed home! Spacious and beautiful, there are 2 living spaces outside, one including a private hot tub. The 2nd-floor deck has a fire table, comfy cushioned patio furniture, and a TV to enjoy as you soak in the hot tub. Two inflatable paddleboards, family fun games, and a Pac-Man arcade game add to the experience! It even has an electric car charger in the garage. Just outside is a grill and patio table for even more dining options to enjoy.

Upstairs you will find a kid's dream come true in the loft with bunk beds, an X-box, and toys and games! The captain quarters bunk room for more fun, a relaxing bedroom with a queen suite where the mermaids hang out, and another king bedroom suite. The second-story deck has lots of room and patio furniture for soaking up some rays or enjoying at night with the fire table going.

At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

Fun in St. George

It was close to the things we needed and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the properties. Our intention was to hike and explore and not really to enjoy the resort. Which was good because it’s not completed yet and the only thing done is the pool/ lagoon. They will contact you prior and recommend a golf cart. It’s fun but you don’t need it. I wouldn’t spend the money. It’s not really an owner vrbo. It’s managed by a third party and there are a lot of rules and signs for the rules and labels on everything and how many plate etc there were, so it wasn’t a welcoming place but fine for what it was. Clean and the management company was responsive. Didn’t like any of the appliances especially the washer/dryer.

Great stay!

Weather was cool in Feb, but coming from Canada it was like a day at the beach. Great location, quiet, clean. Had a blast renting atv’s from Mad Moose right there on site and touring Sand Hollow park. Would definitely stay there again.

This property was very clean and kid friendly. My own children and nieces loved it. The pool lagoon area was so much fun. We spent most of our time there and it’s only an hour drive to Zion, which isn’t bad at all! Overall, we loved staying here and would consider it again.

Great house!

Myself, my husband, and our 4 kids (15,13,9, 20 months) stayed here. The house was perfect for our family. It was beautiful and the lagoon was amazing! We went to Zion, only about an hour from the house, and Bryce Canyon, a little over 2 hours from the house. Also traveled to the Hoover Dam and Vegas for the day, which were around 2 1/2 hours from the house.

Loved the Den!

Such an awesome place to stay. Perks: 1) The added amenities are worth it! The hot tub, the paddleboards, the canoes, and the pickball set. All so fun! 2) The property is gorgeous. Well maintained and organized. 3) The staff at the resort, and the ones I was in communication with: Top notch. 4) The lagoon is amazing. Like, just... awesome. My only complaints... and this isn't to draw back from a 5-star review. -Internet is wonky. I'm sure as the development continues, it'll get better. But this was an inconvenience for me as a business owner who needed to be in contact while traveling. -No garage key was provided, so we had to walk around to the front door. Again, loved this place. We'll be back!

You won't regret staying here.

We absolutely loved this place. We had three families stay here with 11 kids 11 and under. I was concerned we would be worried about breaking things or safety and that wasn't an issue at all. It was very well decorated, but with nothing fragile or that was a worry with SO many small kids. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach/pool with littles, but we didn't mind that at all. They actually even enjoyed the walk. They had multiple pack n plays, a highchair and tons of blankets, towels, and baby/toddler toys to make it so easy for us. We Loved the private hot tub on the deck and our kids used it all the time. The temperature was perfect. Everyone thought ALL the beds were super comfortable. The master bedroom/bathroom/closet is huge. We slept our family of six (4 littles) all in this space with some in the closet and the others in pack n plays and on the floor. It was also very well stocked. Lastly, the person I communicated with went above and beyond to ALWAYS answer all questions/concerns so quickly and responsively. They were fabulous and made our stay stress free and easy. Thank you!! We come down to st. George multiple times a year and love trying out new spaces, but ALL kids and parents agree this is the absolute best stay we have had. We hope to be back. If you are on the fence, I can assure you, you wont regret staying here.
